ChiaoGoo Red Lace Circular 24 inch (61cm) Stainless Steel Knitting Needle Size US 10 (6mm) 7024-10

I only own two pair of ChiaoGoo Red Lace circular needles SO FAR, but there are four main reasons I like these over my other brands that I own. 1) There is a smooth transition between the stainless steel needle and the "red wire" so yarn never gets "caught" or snagged between the two materials. 2) The wire is braided for strength and covered with a very tightly fused red material (rubber??), so you can hold hundreds of stitches on it without it breaking. I know this, because a different brand broke when I had over 400+ stitches on the needles, but when I transferred those 400+ stitches to the ChiaoGoo, they easily handled that and more! 3) The points are quite pointed, allowing you to do intricate stitches, like the Star Stitch, (where you need to need K3, yo, K same 3 again) where stitches get tight. 4) The finish on the stainless steel is extremely satiny smooth, so the stitches smoothly slide off when going from one needle to the next.At the present, I won't buy any other needle.

I am a long time knitter- maybe 60 years now. I have used all kinds of knitting needles, from basic dime store brands to the expensive, top of the line ones. These ChiaoGoo Red Lace circular knitting needles are my favorites. I am in process of replacing all my other circular needles with the entire set of ChiaoGoos, one project at a time. I love the smooth cable that never kinks. Yet it is flexible enough that magic loop knitting is not difficult. The points are lace tip meaning that they are more pointy and tapered than non-lace tips. The finish is smooth. The points are very pointed but not so sharp they are painful to use, like other lace tips I have used. But their best attribute is the cable. For a circular needle, the cable is what makes them a joy to use, or a battle all the way. The ChiaoGoo needles are flexible and straight as soon as they are taken out of their storage sleeve. Even the most high grade plastic or nylon cables require time and warmth to straighten out after storage. And, as they get older, they get worse. And knitting with a needle with a cable wanting to stay in a coil is no joy. My only question about the ChaioGoo needles is how their cables will hold up as years go by. I've been using them for several years and don't see any change yet. And, based on their construction, I will be very surprised if they change much with age. I am happy with these! Note: I have not tried the ChaioGoo needles with replaceable tips so can only comment on the one piece variety.

I love the knitting needles by ChiaoGoo. I've ordered them in several different sizes and been happy with every pair.My problem is with the company distributing the needles. Invariably, they stick their inventory label on top of the label that says the size and length of the needles. If I don't notice it before putting them away, I have to do some research to figure out which needle size they are and then label the package. Small problem in relation to all the others in the world, but why would a company do that? Seems really stupid to me.

These are the best knitting needles out there by a mile. The tips are sharp making for efficient, and more importantly, precise knitting.The metal of the needles is made of stainless steel and is smooth but "sticky" enough that yarn does not slip off the needles. I have been regularly using these needles for several months and have never experienced any odor coming from the metal, nor do my hands cramp up when using them.The cable is flexible and holds the weight of a project very well. I also like that the cable does not have memory - i.e. the needles feel as good as new for every project no matter how many times you use them. The seam between the steel needles and cable is smooth ensuring that yarn does not catch as you knit down a row.I also love that the needle size (the US size as well as the size in mm) is laser printed on the needle. This makes it easy to find the right size amongst my growing pile of Chiaogoo circular needles.Finally, for this quality, you can't beat the price point.HIGHLY recommend. (Especially over the Addis if you knit lace, because Chiaogoo tips are much sharper)

These rock. So easy to use. They don’t snag. I love the way the cord has no memory. My other round needles are bamboo with a plastic cord, I will never buy them again! I’m going to only buy this brand from now on. Recommend 100%

What I love most about this brand of circular knitting needles is that the needles don’t unexpectedly detach from the cables in the middle of your knitting causing you to drop a boatload of stitches. Every knitter knows how frustrating this can be. These needles are very well made, flexible yet strong, durable yet light-weight. They make knitting a joyful experience!

For my first circular needles, these have definitely done the trick! They are smooth, the wire is great, the long tips work well for knitting cables. I'm making a stockinette stitch scarf, so knitting in the round means I only have to knit all my rows and not purl any rows. I'll post photos when I'm done. My only reservation is that I get hand fatigue from these, but that could just be my grip.

I’ve ordered 6 or 8 of these circular needles in various sizes and lengths so far. The wire/flexible part between the needles Is remarkable....it does not kink! I spend most of my knitting time untwisting the plastic cord when I use the plastic kind. I’ll never buy anything but ChiaoGoo circular needles again. You won’t be disappointed!

Perfect needles for knitting beanies in the round. The join is smooth and sturdy. I actually prefer them over the wooden interchangable needles I have. Cord is a beautiful red and just the right amount of flexible. Would recommend!
