Incomplete kit, poor instructions making it totally useless to a layperson
I received this item today. What a disappointment! 1) several of the lids weren't on all the way. One was open and had leaked all over. I got the product all over the place while trying to clean the little jars and pad to recreate the texture on the dash and the bag it all came in. 2) Only 2 of the jars were labeled clearly as to what they were, which was a moot point because 3) there were NO instructions included! None! Im old school, but I expect written instructions! So, I went to YouTube (as you do) and the video I found mentioned 4) the included cleaning pads. There were none. Nor, once again, the afore mentioned instructions. Again, there were none. and 5) Heat transfer item. Something that looked like it was attached, but it doesn't transfer heat. The video showed it attached to a heat type gun. Their video showed how you heat this little tool with an iron, because and IRON is car repair stuff now? 6) Finally found a QR code, but the instructions are still incomplete, vague. If you're going to sell to laypeople, you need better instructions. Also, who is supposed to read what was on the label? Ants? Because the writing is microscopic! 7) The kit is MISSING items listed on their QR code list (see attached pic)! So, I sit here with yellow hands (from the open jar), typing this and MAD because I'm out the money and still have a crack in my dash. I don't know if this is a manufacturer issue or an Amazon issue (I've gotten things before that were OBVIOUSLY a return and were incomplete, dirty etc., shame on you for that Amazon!). However, I will NEVER buy this product again, not because it doesn't work, I don't know if it works. It shouldn't be this hard for a layperson to figure out how to use this product! And most of all, the COMPLETE kit should arrive, WITH instructions!

Needs Instructions!
I think the kit will work eventually, but I am stuck trying to figure out what gets mixed together, and to what ratio? There are no instructions in the box at all. Reading the other reviews, it looks like none of them come with instructions. There is a link to a video, and the video shows you how to APPLY the glue and colored mixture, but they do not show you or tell you how to mix it. There are several little containers that hold different liquids, but figuring out which ones they mixed to make the repair, is difficult. There is epoxy ribbon, epoxy glue, powdered hardener, and a lot of colored containers. I don't even know if the colored containers need mixed with the glue and powdered hardener to bond, or if the colored mixture will bond without help. I am experimenting myself to see what works and what does not work. I don't want to just apply it to my car and have it not work or bond properly. I really would like to know if the colored liquid needs mixed with epoxy and hardener, or if it works all by itself as the final step? Would have been a lot easier and quicker if there were instructions that show what gets mixed together to achieve the end result. That's why everyone else, myself included, are frustrated with the video. They only show how to put it on, but trying to guess what they mixed together to get to that step, is a mystery....... Giving 2 stars based on lack of instructions and frustration level. Seems like just printing out an instruction page would turn most of the 1 and 2 star reviews into 4 and 5 star reviews.

The instructions aren't very clear and all of the materials were not in kit. (Cotton was mentioned)
The instructions for using this product aren't very clear. It mentioned an epoxy strip as well as a cotton strip, neither were included in the kit. When I put the color on the dash and used the flat metal tool and texture paper, it did not work. A day later, it was still wet. I'm not that impressed with this product at all.

SO BAD A PRO COULDN’T MAKE IT WORK!
Like so many products with convincing marketing, this product fell so far short of its alleged potential, it deserves 0 stars, but you can’t enter less than one. Let’s start with the compound. 1)The cure is inconsistent and has spotty adhesion even in a professional setting. 2) The amount of filler putty is so small that it is not enough to repair a single sun damage crack. Further, it does not dry flexible, making a hard spot repair. 3) The texture paper does not have sufficient grain depth to come even close to mimicking the grain, and flattens out as you use it. 4) Thr “hot-foot” you’re supposed to heat up with an iron does not hold enough heat to do a dime sized repair, and the head gets loose as you use it. The result was a repair job that looked absolutely terrible, and even with multiple coats of vinyl resurfacing spray paint, the repair area stands out like a bald man at a hair show. Lastly, the “applicator” is quite literally the piece of soft plastic they use in dress shirt collars to keep the points flat. I’m not against ingenuity, but this does not do a good job at letting you apply an even layer. The video from the company has “clips” that show an “easy and perfect looking” process, but you don’t think about how that video was made, leaving huge questions about the authenticity of the content...”which came first...the repaired surface, or the cut”? We may never know. Save your money, use vinyl caulk and a damp toothbrush. Finish with vinyl resurfacing spray paint. 100% better than this useless waste of money.
