Got Paint?
I bought this stuff a while ago. I had accumulated a number of cans of old paint, mostly to use for touch ups. When the entire inside of my house was repainted, the old paint had to go.Having some respect for mother earth, I could not in good conscience just throw the old paint in the trash or empty the paint in the woods, or worse, pour it down the drain. So this product looked like a good way to dispose of the paint in a hardened form, making it less likely for it to seep into the ground. How does it work? Quite well. With this six pack, I was able to treat 7 differant gallon sized cans of old paint. (they were mixed up) I fudged it a little bit with the recomended amount for each can, and it still worked, it just took a longer time to set. This stuff does not work on Urethane or polyurethane. If I need to, II'd buy it again. Good product, good price.

What to do with old paint.
Since moving here 12 years ago, I have painted every room in my house. I always had paint left over and saved it "in case". Most latex paint goes bad after a year or two and I needed to get rid of it. I've used this product many times. It will solidify up to 2/3 gallon of paint, and then I can set the buckets out with the garbage. I'm happy to have that storage space back and will not be saving any more gallons of paint.

Works well
Used Homax to harden some old leftover paint. I also had a package of XSorb as well. After mixing and waiting until the next morning, the Homax worked much better. The Homax hardened paint was almost solid; however, the XSorb seemed to be just very thick. One (very) minor annoyance was that the Homax bag was for 2/3 gallon. With a couple of cans nearly full, it meant pouring paint into various cans to get to 2/3 gallon. The XSorb was for 1.5 gallons which also meant estimating half a bag for two 3/4 cans (or 1 gallon / 0.5 gallons)

PRICE IS TOO HIGH
PRODUCT WORKS VERY WELL BUT IS PRICY TO DO 1 GALLON OF PAINT.

Highly recommend to get rid of excess paint in buckets!
This stuff started working immediately as I stirred the paint. Easy to use. Let it sit a day or two, also.

Works great
I was able to clean up a large space in my garage that was cluttered with old paint cans. I consolidated the various paints into gallon cans. Simple and easy.
