Mary Jane: The Complete Marijuana Handbook for Women

This book came highly (pun intended!) recommended as I am about to embark on my own personal journey using medical marijuana. I am a complete newbie to marijuana and the lingo; however, I am a huge proponent of its medicinal properties, both in humans and animals. The fact that I now find myself a patient is actually exciting - and daunting, as I know NOTHING. After reading this book, I can honestly say I am no longer worried about my ignorance. This is actually a guide book, a how-to on using marijuana: from purchasing and knowing WHAT you are buying, to cooking, what to expect from various ‘strains’ - this book is written in such a fashion that you are learning while being entertained. This author makes the journey fun as well as educational. Ms. Sicard is well-versed in her subject matter, and it is quite obvious she has done extensive research which is most impressive.I strongly recommend this book, and will be purchasing more from her in the future. Very very good read.

I wish I was bona fide book reviewer or literary critic, whatever the appropriate terminology is because I would find a most eloquent way to say I heart the sh*t out of Cheri Sicard's lovely book I received over the weekend in the mail.It is EXACTLY the book I would have gone to as a grown woman had I not had any experience with marijuana until now! It is written as a woman's mind works, a schooling in the plant itself, biology and chemistry included to begin with, then you're eased into considerations such as how to roll a joint and a very nice breakdown of various smoking tools.It is wonderful and yes, I'm gushing. The book itself is aesthetically pleasing, pretty really. I am so glad I got this book!

Reading through Cheri's book will make you feel like you're sitting with your best girlfriends, talking about and learning the ins and outs of cannabis. VERY WELL WRITTEN

With the onset of cannabis becoming legal for medical and recreational in the U.S., this is a great way to be introduced to Cannabis and how it can benefit women specifically. Marijuana is no longer considered a street drug and is a safe way to treat many illnesses and can actually be quite beneficial. This book is well written by what some may suggest, just an average lady. Well worth it and makes a great gift!!

This is such a well written and complete book about marijuana. I really liked the illustrations, organization and format. Cheri offers insights into the best way to imbibe in the plant that can save our planet and while it is geared towards women, men can enjoy it too. I considered myself an officionada, but Cheri's book taught me a lot I didn't know. This should be required reading for anyone who want to enjoy Mary Jane. Loved it!

Informative and humorous. I learned a lot.

I little dated for the consently changing Cannabis industry but it's an informative read none the less. I would recommend it to any woman looking to learn more about cannabis on many aspects of life.
