Orchard is a quick solitaire ’tile laying’ game that plays in under 10 minutes. The aim of the game is to harvest fruit (score points) by playing cards so that their fruit trees overlap other trees already in the orchard that bear the same fruit. The more trees you can overlap, the more fruit you’ll pick.In addition to the 15 dice representing your increasing harvest, there are 2 tokens representing ‘rotten’ fruit. These allow you to lay a card that you wouldn’t otherwise be able to – but come with a points forfeit. So you must decide if and when to play them.

Love the game so much - however instructions on copy were missing
I love this game a ton - it requires strategy and spatial awareness and is not as easy as it might look or a simple as it might initially feel. The combo's are satisfying when you make them. There is some element of luck with the fact you only use 1/2 the deck for solo but it's fairly balanced overall. The dice are fun and the theme is quite clever and engaging. It does not take much space - could be carefully plaid on a flight but might be better at hotel on a table.The only negative is that the copy was missing instructions. I found them online easily and it's not so difficult but I do prefer to have those in the game rather than having to print them off. Not sure if it was just a bad packaging day or what. My game arrived sealed so - this is a manufacturer issue and not amazon.

What a great little solo game!
Such a fun little solo game! Small foot print and super easy to learn! Set up time is probably 2 seconds lol and game play is lightning quick! You can probably play multiple games in an hour! If you’re looking for a small game to kill time then look no further!!!

Good and simple
I love solitaire games and this one is great. The concept is very simple but it's difficult to master. Very enjoyable if you're good with colors and like matching games. I had to buy a second copy because 1) we wanted to try the multiplayer mode, and 2) because my husband stole mine to play at his desk when he's coding something difficult and needs to clear his head. (its very cute)

A different solitaire
This is a great fast different kind of solitaire for 1. I find myself picking it up whenever I have a spare 10 minutes.Very sturdy cards and pieces, easy to learn, but can’t be mastered ( yet).Definitely for adults, not kids.

Enjoyable! Keep it at my desk for quick breaks.
I really enjoy this game and I feel like I have yet to "master" it because the cards are constantly in flux between games. I didn't like that it had a strong odor to it when I opened the box but I left it to air out and it's fine now. Box is super sturdy and it travels nicely. It's solo player, but we've played some games together for fun.

My favourite solo game
I have been waiting for this game to be available since I saw it played on YouTube and I'm not disapointed. The setup is very quick comparing to some other games, the rules are crystal clear and you can even find solo challenges on bgg website in Orchard/files section.I recommend this game to anyone who wants to take a quick break from time to time and just enjoy a nice puzzle!
