Herb-Ox Bouillon Packets Chicken Instant Broth & Seasoning 1.13 oz box

I used this on my "clear liquids" fasting day prior to a colonoscopy and let me tell you~ I had forgotten how delicious this is. When I was a kid, this was a go-to by my mom and grandmother whenever tummies were upset. As a mom I gave it to my own daughter, as well. Nothing like it with a couple of saltines. Anyway, I fixed myself a couple of mugs of this, being careful not to swallow the herb bits that settle to the bottom of mug. It is so much more flavorful and satisfying than straight "bone" broth.

Whether to season with, or simply to drink as a warm, light cup of "soup," this is one of my favorite shelf-stable broth packets. Although I do use meats to create homemade soups, I add one or more flavors of Herb-Ox as well. The powdered form mixes instantly... no clumps. Note: If you're watching your sodium intake, there is a salt-free version.

Good chicken flavor and not many chemicals, as far as i can tell.

I was in a major hospital for surgery, and the food there was awful. So bad, I wrote a letter to the CEO. The "broth" they brought me was nothing more than brown water. (I will not bother you about how bad the rest of the menu was) But the nurses have this in their station, which was a godsend. We now use it at home, and here is one idea. When steaming vegetables, we add 1/2 a packet of the bouillon to add a bit of flavor to the dish. Well worth the money

Was looking for a gluten free alternative to chicken flavor Maruchan Instant Ramen and this delicious soup packet paired with Real Naturals gluten free brown rice ramen noodles really satisfied my craving for a hot bowl of chicken flavor ramen. When you use chicken broth, this flavor packet kicks it up a level and the hot bowl of ramen is that much better. I added some chicken and I had the best bowl of chicken ramen I've had in a long time because I stopped eating gluten ramen and couldn't find a good gluten free alternative. Also makes a tasty bowl of soup if used by itself. Very happy I found this.
