I ordered these pills because I am allergic to casein in dairy and have become very lactose and sensitive. Yes I know. I should not be having any dairy whatsoever since I am allergic to Casein in it in it, but I am having a very hard time giving up my cheddar cheese. I mean, come on who can eat a taco without cheese??? So when I eat cheese, I become very bloated and end up getting stuck in the bathroom if you know what I mean. I ordered these pills and I take a pill as soon as I know I’m about to eat anything that has some cheese in it and I have not been getting bloated or having the need to use the restroom when I take this pill with the dairy. When I need a bit of help digesting dairy, this is my go-to enzyme. I love the quality of Enzymedica products and take several others as needed including Lacto -- the pricier lactase supplement that includes other helpful digestive enyzmes. But Lacto is hard to find and very pricey; Dairy Digest is a more affordable alternative. I often pair with a Papaya enzyme for added digestive help. My husband has had gastric surgeries and needs more help, so he uses this in addition to their Digest Basic to help break down fats, proteins, and carbs in addition to lactose.

I love this because there is no other additives to the supplement. I used to wake up with slight nausea if I had dairy the day before, but now I don't! I take one capsule before any dairy intake, 2 if the meal is super dairy heavy (think creamed soups or cheesy potatoes). I'm very grateful to not be waking up at 5am due to nausea!

These definitely are a step above Lactaid.

I thought I had lactose intolerance but it turns out it is the dairy proteins I am allergic to. People think, oh big deal have a little diarrhea, but oh no, it is full on viral style cramping and pain followed by diarrhea and more pain. If Starbucks accidentally puts milk instead of almond milk in my iced coffee it ruins my day. So, this tablet saves me, immediately if I feel something I take and it resolves. Ideally you would take prior to but since I avoid all dairy I really only use these for whoopsies. Like having a sauce that says no dairy but uh oh it has cream ( which is dairy). I keep one at home and one in my purse. The amount I take varies as it says in the instructions but an example would be if I intentionally ate a bowl of cereal with real milk I would take 2 before, 1 during and 1 after to resolve it. I don't do this but that is the best way to describe it. Basically it is giving me the enzyme to digest dairy, so you adjust how much you take by how much you are consuming. The first example of an iced coffee with milk, would only need 1-2 tabs. Anyways I rarely need them but it's great to have for emergencies.

I think they work, but I am not completely sure. Found better price and quality though
