I bought the star decor because a friend had asked if I could make chocolate dipped sandwich cookies in Mario world theme. I looked at the edible art and didn’t think it was worth the money. When I saw the rings and the Star sugar decor, I figured I could incorporate them onto the cookie, and they looked phenomenal if you look at the pictures with this review. Since I just wanted the stars and not the gold star dust sugar that came with them, I just used a small colander and sifted the sugar out and put it back in the bag to be used for another project. I used the stars on the cookies to look like Mario and Luigi powering up. The stars were the perfect color, and just the right size to decorate the cookies with. The best part? EVERYTHING you see on the cookie plate came from Amazon, including the cookies and the chocolate coating! I made the mushrooms and boo the ghosts out of fondant, and colored each one with small amounts of food coloring. I added a few of the small stars to make the mushroom more magical looking. The birthday boy absolutely loved them, and I’m hoping the party kids will love them, as well!!! I already have others I have shown the pictures to wanting me to make some for their grandchildren’s birthdays!

Used on my nieces golden birthday cake. Some sprinkles can be so hard. These were the perfect texture and hardness.

I used this to rim cocktail glasses for a themed party. It looked beautiful on the martini glasses, but the taste wasn't great, I found myself wiping away the area on the rim of the glass before taking a sip. I also thought it was very pricey for the amount that they give you in the bag. I did make the drinks look very nice, which was a plus.

Although the package says it is good through 31 December 2026, these golden stars and sprinkles seem to be stale and rancid as of March 2024. They don't sparkle the way the photo shows. The taste and smell are both horrible and disgusting. Aren't they supposed to be edible? If there was a rating less than one star, this product deserves it. Unfortunately, it's not returnable so I'll throw it away. What a waste!

These were part of the cake decorations along with others--the cake did not have any decorations (deliberate). These golden sprinkles were gorgeous and contrasted nicely with the chocolate frosting. Really nice addition.

I used these for high school graduation cake pops are they are just lovely. Super nice quality, fresh, and easy to use. They offer an elevated look while still looking fun!

I was putting this on pretzel rods dipped in white chocolate. It was the prettiest glitter. I had several done and I decided to taste the glitter and it tasted rancid. I had to throw the pretzels and glitter away. I think I just got a bad bag. I will probably try this glitter again next Christmas because it was so pretty on the pretzels.
