Meglio Therapy Hand Putty 454g - Target Hand Recovery and Rehabilitation, Strength Training and Stress Relief, Variable Resistive Strength Extra Light, Light, Medium & Firm

Bought this for theraputty sessions at school, working to improve fine motor skills. The class love it and it is really good for improving hand and finger strength when used with correct exercises. You get enough in a pot for about 5 people to use. This firm strength is fab as I work with secondary aged children. Primary aged children would be better with a less firm putty.

This is great stuff. I bought it for an 8 year old who uses putty to aid concentration - its perfect for him. Quite firm enough without being too firm. It’s also bouncy when he makes a ball from it which is a bonus.As an adult with tendon issues I also found it firm enough for me to use without pain.

Having had a carpal tunnel operation I was recommended therapy putty by the physiotherapist. Unfortunately I originally bought another brand which was so hard that I was unable to manipulate to exercise at all! Meglio red- soft - was excellent and allowed me to carry out all my given exercises with some resistance from the putty. The large pot was excellent value and you can pull off just the amount you need for finger exercises or full hand. The magic happens when you return the putty to the pot! It will look very lumpy but when next you open the lid you have a pristine jar of putty once more! I still use it months later when I feel the need for the occasional top up exercise.

This product is perfect to use with children. It is neither too firm nor too soft and is able to be manipulated, encouraging strengthening of their fingers- both grip and dexterity. Although I do keep it in airtight containers, even if left out it does not dry up and is still perfect. I have used it as a calming tool also, and for those children who need to “fiddle” when listening. The fact that it is antibacterial is also reassuring!

Fast delivery this is for use after hand surgery recommended by nhs physio staff it was a excellent price as you need a good size of theraputy to do the exercises. It is perfect and can be purchased in various strengths to suit progress after surgery.

This was advised by my physio. Quality product. Rather too stiff for me I wish I’d bought the softer one but my mistake so not marking it down
