2012 Mustang GT Brake Fluid Flush
Bought this kit for my 2012 Mustang GT and the reservoir cap fits perfectly. They supplied two rubber pads and I used the thinner of the two, but that one did allow a small amount of leakage around the cap. However, the pump worked great and bleeding all four calipers was easy. I did test to make sure that pressure would be held prior to putting brake fluid in the tank. I replaced all the fluid before doing the rear brakes, so I probably used more than might be typical (36 oz). When I compressed the pistons back into the rear calipers, it left the right amount of fluid in the reservoir. This kit also came with the quick disconnect fittings, but I know some of the others do not.

Works perfectly, no leaks!

Worked well on 2019 Miata RF
Tried two other brands of adapters w/o success. This one fit the reservoir and sealed with the thicker of the two included rubber disks.

Vehicle specific brake bleed adapter to be used with the Motive Brake bleeding system.
I have used Motive Brake bleeding products for several years. They are a reasonably priced product to pressure bleed automotive brake systems. It is important to research your master cylinder inlet size and configuration. The Motive 1118 adapter is advertised to fit late model GM vehicles but also happens to be the correct adapter for my Ford/Lincoln vehicle. (The Ford adapter which I use on several other vehicles is similar but a larger diameter). The Motive 1118 adapter took a little effort to fit on the master cylinder reservoir - most likely my vehicle - not a big problem. The fit was tight and secure. The adapter come with two different thickness sealing washers - pick the best for your application.

An Excellent Addition to my Garage
I have a few vehicles and I am anal about maintenance. Recently I had been having some brake issues with my 20-year-old F-150, and had done various diagnostics and replacements of parts to try and find this intermittent issue. I finally decided to pull the trigger on the motive power bleeder and I am so glad I did.I have replaced brake lines, calipers, flushed fluid, and this has been such a nice addition and speeds up the process so much.I have a upcoming replacement on my near 20-year-old Mustang as well, and when I replace all of the brake lines and install a new big brake kit, it will make this a breeze.I gave four stars because I don't think any product is perfect. And there is certainly a cost for getting the adapters for each vehicle you have. I know when I finally buy my new truck, I will have to buy a third adapter so I'll have one for each vehicle. But it's worth the cost. You're able to easily bleed the brakes whether it's for just routine fluid changes, line replacements, calipers, etc quickly and efficiently with one person. I would usually use a bottle with hose I had set up and just do that myself pumping the brakes. But sometimes I still found it hard to get every little bit of air out. That is no longer an issue with this bleeder. If you work on your own vehicles, and you stay on top of fluid changes...That alone is enough reason to pull the trigger on this. Very impressed and wish I had done it sooner.

Waste of time cap doesn’t hold a seal
For the high price of this item I had high expectations now my car is on jackstands with the job incomplete. Pumped it up full of fluid and it leaked all over my reservoir and I had to clean up brake fluid around the master cylinder before it causes corrosion on my car. Waste of time and waste of money. Wasted a $55 bottle of Castrol dot4 brake fluid in the process don’t have time to let the car sit on jackstands so the job is left incomplete.. it also damaged the threads on my brake master cylinder.

Good bleeder
There are two ways that this bleeder can be used. The first way is dry where you pressurize the empty bottle while attached to the master cylinder and push out the fluid being careful not to blow air through the line. The second and, in my opinion, more optimal way is to fill the bottle with new brake fluid, pressurize and pump the fluid through the system which is a one-time connect as opposed to the dry method where you need to refill the MC from time to time. I bought the unit with the proper adapter for my vehicle and unfortunately it will not maintain a seal using fluid. The cap leaks fluid all over the place so I can only use the dry method. This isn't the end of the world but I paid extra for the metal adapter and when I contacted Motive to see if perhaps I bought the wrong adapter or if I was doing anything incorrectly I did not receive any response at all. I would have given this a higher rating if I got any response at all but if there's something else wrong I don't think the customer service is very good and I'll have to return via Amazon to get anything done.Update on 9/26 - The bleeder itself is fine but I have to use it using the dry method. I purchased the higher-end adapter specifically for GM vehicles and unfortunately it will not hold a seal when pumping fluid even at 10 PSI. I contacted Motive about this back in August to see if perhaps I ordered the wrong part or was sent the wrong part. and still have not received any response other than the automatic bounce-back email with FAQs. Disappointing service.
