Deka 00297 Positive Battery Cable

Cable was not supposed to work with my car but it did. It's way too long for a 2015 Ford escape but because it's cheaper than the one I needed it, I made it work.I hid the extra slack around the battery.The cable end that goes on the battery is very tight, had to be pried open wider after loosening bolt. Easy.I would buy this again for sure if needed. Good sturdy cable for the right price at a fraction the cost.

This is a well made product. The terminal ends are securely attached and the quality of both the battery post clamp and lug on the other end are good. I like how the ring lug at the other end from the battery has the copper strands extending all the way through the lug to around where the stud comes through. It looks like they form the terminal ring from a piece of copper with the conductor wires extending all the way through. The ring lug is crimped onto the wire insulation for strain relief and will prevent oxidation.Now, the one thing you need to know: It's marked as made in the USA.
