This cleansing oil has become a staple in my routine. It melts away makeup quickly and rinses off clean without leaving any residue. What I love most is that it doesn’t dry out my face—my skin feels soft and balanced every time. Since it’s non‑comedogenic, it hasn’t caused any breakouts either. Overall, it’s an effective, lightweight cleanser that’s gentle enough for daily use.

A friend of bought me face care products, including a facial cleansing oil, from a fancy schmancy company whose products I cannot afford. Nearly out, I searched for similar products. When I found this Neutrogena cleansing oil, I was I excited, but my expectations were unfairly low. This cleansing oil is 98% as wonderful as the high-end $35+/bottle product! The Neutrogena oil cleanser really does remove makeup and ick (including waterproof mascara and eyeliner) with minimal effort. The consistency is not overly thin or super runny. It's easy to apply, rinses off beautifully clean, is lightweight and the scent is delicate and pleasing. I have Celiac disease, so I cannot ingest or risk ingesting even the tiniest trace of gluten. Given the number of times we touch our faces and lips throughout the day, it's important my facial products are gluten free. I REALLY appreciate the fact that Neutrogena does not capitalize on the gluten free aspect of any of their products. The best part about this stuff? It's beyond worth it for the money! Safe for my sensitive skin and allergies, plus very affordable. I love it!!

I love wearing makeup but I hate taking it off. I don’t like using typical removers because they always burn my eyes. I recently discovered this cleansing oil (I’ve tried others but haven’t found my favorite) and I absolutely adored it. The texture is really nice and it has the most incredible smell. It’s sort of fruity but I like it a lot. It does a good job getting most of the makeup off in the first wash. That might be a turn off for some people but my most important concern was how it affected my eyes. I didn’t feel like the product irritated my skin (I have very sensitive skin) and did a good job. I followed up with a regular cleanser and my face was completely clean. I’ve also found that it’s good even if you don’t wear makeup but wear a lot of sunscreen or have other products on your skin. It gets a lot of oil off as well and I feel like my skin is extra clean when I use this.

I used to apply coconut oil for cleaning my makeup but after that some makeup residual was left… After using this oil cleanser I must say you don’t need anything, you can see your makeup melting and it is so satisfying. The only negative thing about this its taste because after applying it when you wash your face and accidentally when it comes into your mouth it is very bitter. I will repurchase it again and again.

Thought it might be effective but it did not do the job, especially with tough mascara.
