Fashion Model Collection: Highland Fling Barbie Doll

My doll arrived sooner than expected! That's always a good thing! She is beautiful! I love how her face was painted! She looks so flirty yet elegant! My only qualm, it's very minor, is that I envisioned her hair to be a bit longer. Her hair is a bit frizzy, and her curls are kind of bent. The band that held her bangs together also melted off. Which is to be expected since this is an older doll that's been inside her box for a long while. I do love how soft it feels despite of the minor issues I mentioned. I also love her mini highlights!I did end up re-dressing her, but her lingerie is very pretty and felt delicate. All-in-all I'm pleased to add her to my small collection! I'm going to need to do some hair retouching, but that'll be fun!

Totally beautiful. When out of the box, this doll looks exactly as pictured. I highly recommend her.

I own a highland fling silkstone doll and I would easily say that she has one of the most beautiful face among the silkstone dolls. Very flirty yet refined. I love the details of the face make up as well as the hair. Though she should have a very nice black high heels instead of the slippers (very unflatering). I wonder how she would wear it if someone will debox her. I might give her a nice high heels. I hope, next time, all silkstone dolls will have a nice shoes instead of slippers like this one.

She loves amazing in the photos but it's hard to get her hair to look this big. Pretty doll great addition to my collection.

I am new to Barbie Collecting. I have made some mistakes...All Barbies are not created equal!!! This doll is one of my favorites! She is gorgeous & made with very high quality. A beautiful addition to any collection :)
