Yes it works well. Follow directions. You can use a very light scratch guard pad. Bought on Amazon. They are the thin white pads. And wipe with soft white cloth with a little water to wipe clean.

will this work for seats with holes for cooling? It won't fill the holes with goop?

Yes it works and doesn't clog the pores in the seats. I wouldn't over saturate the seats with the cleaner.

Is this suitable for alcantara seats?

NoIt's for leather covering only. I wouldn't use it on Alcantara.
