MaxHold MaxHold No-Drilling/Suction Cup Round Towel Ring - Vaccum System - Stainless Steel Never Rust - for Bathroom & Kitchen Storage

This MaxHold towel ring works perfectly in the bathroom to hold the towel by my sink. I placed the ring on the far left side of my mirror, so it does not obstruct my view at all. It's been hanging up for just under 2 months, and I've not had any problems with it holding. It gets used several times a day, and has not budged. It was very easy to put up as well. It "stuck" on my first attempt. Great product!

Worked out great in my new apartment... did not want a towel stand... I put it directly on the huge bathroom mirror and it hasn't come loose in the 2 months I've had it... worked perfectly....

This is a review for the ring-style model. The package didn't come with any instructions on how to attach the ring to the suction cup. I fumbled and felt silly for a few minutes before realizing the suction cup knob actually twists off to reveal a slot for the ring. Whoops haha. The suction cup grips to my smooth large tiles extremely well - I gave it a few strong tugs and it's definitely not going anywhere. The ring itself is nice heavyweight metal. Unfortunately, the little knob attached to the suction cup is plastic and feels cheap (the reason for 4 stars instead of 5), but hopefully guests will never notice. I'll update this review if the chrome-colored coating on the plastic knob starts to chip away but it looks nice for now. I first tried to hang it from the smaller border tiles in my bathroom, and while it appeared sturdy, the ring fell down spontaneously a few hours later. It kept happening until I moved it down to the larger tiles. So if you're not 100% sure it will stick in your chosen location, make sure to protect anything that might be fragile underneath. I'm thankful the heavy ring didn't chip my sink. The first photo shows the size of the small border tiles the suction cup refused to adhere to. They LOOK large enough, but have a very slight bevel that prevents the cup from working. Just so you can get an idea of how sensitive the suction cups are about requiring a flat,smooth surface. The second image is just a closeup of the plastic knob, it looks really good and matches the metal ring.

Works as advertised! I have a large bathroom mirror, and I affixed this towel holder on one of the corners. It's held fine for several months now, with no signs of losing grip! I would definitely recommend this product if you're looking for an easy-to-install towel holder that doesn't require drilling any new holes in your bathroom walls. Word of caution - I did first try sticking this to my (plaster) bathroom wall, but it couldn't get any suction to stay on the wall. I think this product works best on glass/mirror and on large tiled surface. If your bathroom walls have small tiles or plaster, just be wary that the suction may not work.

Months later this towel ring hasn't budged even in a busy 5 person home. Love that I didn't have to drill through my tile. Secure to wall and looks great too.

Horrible! They did not stay up. Fall off continually even without a towel or wash cloth on them. Very disappointing.

I remodeled my shower and installed this on the outside of my shower glass by my vanity. Man, this thing holds! I am very please with it and I would definitely recommend it. But understand that it might not hold if the surface is not smooth. It certainly works great on glass.

I've had it for almost a year, and it's still holding strong. I've only ever put a hand towel on it, but there's not been even a slip.

Alors je crois comprendre les avis négatifs que j'ai lu sur le produit : J'ai moi même essayé au debut de l'installer mais soit il ne tenait pas du tout soit il tombait au bout de quelques heures. J'ai demandé à quelqu'un de plus costaud que moi de l'installer et oh miracle il tient parfaitement et supporte même une serviette très lourde. En fait pour l'installer il faut beaucoup de force car il faut appuyer très fort en même temps donc moi j'en étais incapable. Sur mon carrelage repeint aucune ventouse ne tenait jusqu'à cette marque. J'ai déménagé et j'ai redemandé qu'on me le fixe et impeccable depuis un an! Je suis ravie de ce produit et j'envisage de racheter les autres produit de la même marque car c'est du solide. Et cerise sur le gâteau rien ne rouille et ça supporte l'eau et l'humidité.
