Q: Im new to all this so what else do I need to buy for this product or is everything in there and ready to install?

Our JBL BassPro12 requires an 8-gauge amp wiring kit which is not included in the box. We suggest bringing your vehicle to a professional car audio shop to install this subwoofer to your vehicle.

Q: What’s the difference between this and the gt base pro 12?

Both units have a similar frequency response, amplifier power, and maximum wattage as written below. Frequency Response - 35-120Hz Amplifier Power (RMS) - 150 watts Maximum Wattage - 450 watts The main difference is that JBL GT Bass Pro has RCA, Harness input, and a crossover point of 40-200Hz. JBL Bass Pro 12 on the other hand has RCA, speaker-level inputs, and a crossover point of 70-120Hz.

Q: Will this fit under the rear seat of a 2020 Chevrolet Colorado?

Our JBL BassPro12 has a width of 22-3/8", a height of 14-5/8", and a depth of 11-7/8". It is usually recommended to place the at the trunk of the vehicle as it will be too large to place it under the seat.
