Her twin sister just dislike her for some reason that she could not put her finger on. It all comes down to her being jealous because Eric Sara's husband chose her and not her twin so she's feeling jealous even though she has her own husband and two kids. They have no idea what Sara goes through every day of her marriage and I don't think they care. The one person who sees through the wall she has up is her stepbrother he's there for her and he's helping her pick up the pieces of her life. Including getting out of the rut that she's in after not only her husband but her mother's death. But HEAs come when you least expect it. And these two are about to have their happily ever after together even in the midst of all that has happy and both of their lives faith has brought them together.

However I liked the book so well I purchased a copy for my personal enjoyment anytime I wished to read it. This is a wonderful story, well written, full of surprises and great characters. It is however, not at all what I was expecting at first. The previews I had read lead to what I thought was something all together different. I became so involved with all the characters, it was like I was feeling what they were. This is the type of book that I enjoyed very much. It held my attention cover to cover and it even ended with a HEA (although I was beginning to wonder)!

The description of this book does not match the actual book. I expected this book to be much harsher than what II actually read. If you are looking for HEA than this is your book. I love the friendship between Harvey and his secretary. They have a bond that you do not expect between an employer and employee. She knows how to handle him.Poor Sara no one should have to endure what she has, but shis stronger than she gives herself credit for. Her sister is a piece of work and if my sister ever acted like that, she would be in a world of trouble.

Sara's husband just died and now she is lost. Even though he was abusive she didnt really work or have friends. To her surprise her gorgeous stepbrother Harvey steps up and takes care of her when everyone else has abandoned her. Spending more and more time together has brought them closer. Will Sara ever find love again and will the playboy change his ways?

I really enjoyed this book. The characters were dramatic, but in a good way. Sara and Harvey go through quite a bit to realize that they are in love. Maybe reading this story can help someone get out of an abusive relationship. Emilia Beaumont is definitely being added to the top of my must read authors.

I was surprised by this, normally the step brother books I read are filled the drama and younger people. Harvey is rich and has a step sister Sara who's husband died in a car accident. Harvey was so sweet and Kind to Sara he took care of her and slowly fell in love with her. Sara is hiding a painful secret and finally tells Harvey and comforts her and makes a promise that no one will ever hurt her again.

An abusive husband, loss of self esteem and full of heart break is what the heroine faces. Then the husband is killed in an automobile accident.In comes the step brother. Everything changes.

I really loved the storyline. I was really happy that she didn't have to be in that abuse relationship anymore. She was able to be happy with someone she least expect to be with.
