Ken Jennings' Junior Genius Guides Collection: Maps and Geography; Greek Mythology; U.S. Presidents

Gave this set to my nephew along w/ a few of the other titles. Here is a note from Grandma re: a road trip they took. "Wanted to tell you I think the Ken Jennings books are wonderful. Sawyer regaled us with interesting facts from the Mythology one and I have been reading the one on maps and geography. I plan to borrow some of the others when we get home" That's good enough for me!

Great books, my kids have enjoyed them.

My son loves these books. He reads and re-reads them, and laughs aloud. He repeats the jokes to me along with the facts. Ken's style makes learning fun.

Everything Ken Jennings writes is worth reading. The information is quirky and captivating, presented in such a clever manner.

My 9 year old devoured all of the junior genius guides, and now I love how he randomly inserts Greek mythology facts into daily conversation. These books are fantastic, both educational and entertaining. I recommend them to all my friends.

My kids received several of the Junior Genius books as a gift from grandma. They have read them more than once and our family Has found great value and enjoyment in Mr. Jennings books! I see the majority of negative reviews seem to stem from non-verified purchases.....hmmm.

Lots of unimportant, silly facts. Kids want to learn, not just be entertained. Ok to read for fun, but not a good teaching tool.

Everyone knows that Ken knows a lot about many subjects, but he also is talented about organizing that knowledge in a humorous and entertaining way. I bought this set for my classroom, for students to borrow, but, word of mouth has them so popular, that I need to buy more sets.Not only do the students like them, but they are entertaining for the curious adult with knowledge gaps.Buy and enjoy!
