Great Product
You can not go wrong with anything from Powerwerx they are a A1 company. The TRIcrimp is a solid made took that works really well. You can but more generic crimpers but you do get what you pay for with this tool. It makes fast work of making up Power Pole connectors.

Worth it
I don't usually write reviews, but this product deserves it I had my doubts about spending this much for a crimping tool, but this was worth every penny. First, the order arrived promptly and was well packaged. Second, the tool is well made, substantial, and not flimsy. Third, the tool was easy to use and worked perfectly. I had tried and failed to properly crimp the Anderson Powerpole connectors using a pair of pliers. I followed the simple directions and got a beautifully crimped connector the first time. I prove this tool is basically idiot proof I would have saved a lot of frustration if I had just purchased this tool in the first place. I recommend you do the same.

Works on KidTrax Anderson connectors
Worked flawlessly to crimp the new smaller 40a Anderson Grid connectors used on the KidTrax power vehicles. Aftermarket charging solutions used the older and larger SBS50 Anderson connectors. Using this crimper I was easily able to crimp the Grid terminals onto 14/18GA wire. It's important to note that some other third party crimpers were not able to crimp that terminal. The terminals have a "V" shaped end on them. This crimper was powerful enough to curl the top part of the "V" onto the wire with minimal effort. I highly recommend this crimper for Anderson connectors!

Pricey for what it is, but this is the right tool for the job
After watching about a dozen videos on "How to use Powerpole connectors" and seeing people using everything from standard crimpers to pliers to attach the metal connector to the wires, I came to the conclusion that the right tool for the job is just that. These crimpers are the tool recommended by Anderson for their connectors and they work perfectly. The metal gets crimped in the proper shape and to the proper amount of "squish" without deforming the connector like crimping it on with pliers will do. Making Powerpoles is easy with this tool. Buy once, cry once.

Works as intended
I have been happy with the crimper. The quality is decent. I don't often give 5 stars unless a product is truly a top-of-the-line item. To explain further...This tool is acceptable (and I have worked as a mechanic with my low-end tools being Craftsman, SK, Etc. My high-end tools being Snap On.) This would rate along with my lower end acceptable tools. Definitely not up there with Snap On.

Works great
This tool works fine. I just built some power cords using all three sizes 15 thru 45 amp. Worked every time without jamming or deforming the contact. I tossed my old, similar-looking tool as it was always a struggle to use without deforming the contacts.

It actually works.
I previously got at least two really cheap Anderson crimpers, and neither could make a decent crimp without deforming the connector to the point I couldn't insert it in the plastic housing. This model does. It might not be of the quality needed for continuous use in a manufacturing process, but it's certainly appropriate for occasional hobby use.
