Acrylic Cigar Humidor Jar with 1 Xikar Round Digital Hygrometer and 1 HumiStore Crystal Humidifier, Starter Kit Cigar Storage Combo, 25 Cigar Capacity
D**.
Had no idea I needed this for my cigars... So glad I have it now.
I used to have a small pelican case style carrier for my cigars. I didn't like it much because it only held 3-4 cigars, I couldn't see it, and eventually the whole thing got moldy (because I didn't see it happening). So when my cigar store told me about these acrylic jars that would be perfect for me, I got this specific one through Amazon because it was taller than the other ones.I LOVE IT. I can put so many cigars in it. I've accidentally dropped it once and it survived a 3-4 ft fall. I didn't use the crystal humidifier (I use something else) and my friend "took" my hygrometer (which is fine because I got something else that I could calibrate). All my cigars are sitting at a healthy 65-68 humidity.

Perfect cigar jar with perfect seal
I got this acrylic jar humidor for the man of my life to keep his cigars fresh and tidy in our living room. It was easy to setup the hygrometer and the humidifier. Once we moved the hygrometer to the right spot it was easy to read. The humidity is still not where it should be but it's only been a day and we know it takes a little time to get there. He put about 10 cigars in there. It's a great and well-priced cigar storage solution and it looks good too.

Works great!
Keeps cigars a a stable humidity. Makes a HUGE difference, especially in a dry environment. Cigars burn much better, don't need to constantly re-light. MUCH better than a wooden box humidor. Don't need to open to see the hygrometer which makes a huge difference as I only have a cigar once or twice a month.

Any instructions?
I like the size and the digital hygrometer. I am confused as to how that and the humidifier should bee installed into the jar. Any suggestions?

Great Acrylic Humidor
If you live in an arid climate or just plan to keep you cigars somewhere that's really low in humidity this is the absolute way to go. Admittedly wooden boxes look nicer, and also protect from sunlight. But the former is preference and the latter is easily remedied. I have another acrylic humidor that I got as a gift and I got this one to hold enough cigars for a guys weekend. This is a great price for a spacious acrylic humidor (many I saw were short/smaller diameter). The seal is silicone, so it will hold up to wear and tear better as well as provide a better seal. The acrylic is durable. Mind got bumped and fell off a table onto a hard floor and took no damage. It's moderately easy to pack in a bag, just make sure to tape the latch down if you're flying so it doesn't get jostled open by TSA.Inner diameter is 4 5/8" or 4.625" and the depth is 8", but you lose about an 1/8 of an inch for the lid. So even the very large Double Corona (7.6" will fit). It's a spacious container, I have 19 Pancho Robustos (5.5"x52) along with 2 Drymistat humidifier tubes (not included) and the included hygrometer in mine with room to move them around some. The included hygrometer works fine. Some people are pretty serious about calibrated them, so I'll say that you can't with this one. But it you just realize it'll have a wider margin of error and strive to keep your cigars in the sweet spot it shouldn't matter. The HumiStore crystal device is pretty adamant that you use Xikar brand propylene glycol liquid and that water will not work. I'm not sure if these crystals work different than my DryMistat ones (possible), but I'm not too keen on introducing chemicals to my cigars. It is a "safe" compound but not sure if it will impact flavors. If I use it I will update.
