Very easy to give this 5*. Easy to assemble and uses a wind up action to raise and lower which is simple to use. Very sturdy when placed into a holder. The tilt mechanism works a treat. Highly recommended.

The winding handle to raise & lower the umbrella is ideal for people with disabilities that might prevent them otherwise from putting it up.

Has only 6 panels, rather than the normal 8 on my other shades. Winding mechanism works well, to raise and lower, and the unit seems well designed and made. Happy with purchase, although the 6 panel design gives a slightly smaller shaded area and the (green) fabric seems a bit thin

I would not recommend this product simply because it has faded very badley, I have only had it from September to to now which is April so it hasn't had much use. It looked good when it arrived but after just a short time it's started to get holes in it. So I will leave it up to you whether you buy one or not.

I liked the look and tilt idea but the design is such that in a slight breeze it falls over! The base advertised on the Amazon site as frequently bought together was not nearly heavy enough, but in any case, if it had been the strain on the pole would have been too great. Great idea but the pole needs to be much sturdier to support the spread and after two outings the tilt mechanism has failed. Now I find I am one day outside getting a refund from Amazon and have an umbrella and base which are unusable.
