Bought this for my granddaughter for her birthday, she just turned 9 and she absolutely loved it!

All you need are 2 AAA batteries for each lantern, and small Phillips screwdriver (the size used on eyeglasses). Everything else is included; glue, glitter, brushes, deco, assortment of fairies, lights, etc. Instructions are good, and a great craft project that you can actually use. The jar is plastic, a must when working with kids. Adults and kids, alike, would find this to be a great project. Had a child, 5-1/2 yrs, and so excited, helping by putting glue on jar and picking out her fairy, color of flower and ribbon. In the end, she has twin sisters 3 yrs old, and now they all have adorable night lights that they can turn on/off themselves. This would be a great party project for older children.

Really impressed with this kit. Nice quality. Good instructions. Occupied a 3yr and 6yr old siblings for an evening. The final product was a mason jar size fairy light with an on/off button on top of the lid. Came with everything you need except 2 AAA batteries each and an eyeglass size screwdriver for the battery cover. Kids were so excited for parents to get home from a date night to show them. Grandma scored a few points with this project!

I bought this as a craft activity for my granddaughters birthday. It was a fun activity and she loved it! I only gave it 4 stars because the lights on one of the jars didn’t work which is a big part of the final craft.

These are so awesome. Bought for my niece's ,for a craft while they came over. I've bought this a few times. They create new styles every time. I'll for sure buy again.

Purchased to be used as an indoor activity for a trio of 8-10 year old girls while on a family vacation. They were able to work on it by themselves for the most part, and the lamps ended up looking quite lovely! Hardest part to deal with was that there is a little very tiny screw that is used to keep the battery compartment locked that required an eyeglasses screwdriver to open. Also, the jars look like they could be glass but they are actually plastic.

These are cute but the glitter is SUPER MESSY. I would not use it. Get the kids some glitter pens instead.

I bought this kit to do with my granddaughters ages 5 and 10. Everything was included in the kit and instructions were easy to follow. The plastic lanterns and materials included in the kit were of good quality. I liked that the fairy light string was made into the top of jar and the on/off switch is easily assessable. Great quality kit to create memories with children.
