Traditional Tanners Buffalo Robes, Hides & Rugs: Naturally Tanned

I've shopped for bison robes for a couple years, so I've seen and handled dozens of them. This hide is the best of them all. It's huge, the fur is thick and the back of it is soft and supple. It's a showpiece! We loved the robe so much that we ordered another and that one is just as beautiful. Some of the reviews mention it has a smell to it. It does. It smells like wood smoke, which is how the hide is processed. We love the scent of it! It's been a couple weeks and the scent has faded. We've joked about asking the company if they could 'recharge' the scent for us. If you want to spoil yourself or a loved one with a stunner of a gift, this is it!

Mine is about 22#s of gorgeous cozy Buffalo robe. It completely covers my queen sized bed. I've slept wrapped up in it. Serene and comfy, furry side next to me. The hair is pretty long and softly dense. Mine is oder free. Highly recommend.

Very happy with the hide. Exceptionally soft and high quality. Just for others to be a aware there maybe some spots that are sewn on the leather side. The sewn parts are done well but I would imagine that it is very difficult to get a flawless hide off such a large animal. It does not affect the enjoyment or the durability of the product at all. Looking forward to enjoying the hide for many years to come. We were very excited to receive the product and always look forward to spend quality time using it. It's very versatile for comfort and beauty. It rotates between bed cover, robe and rug for special occasions.

I looked a long time for a traditionally tanned buffalo hide , and I couldn't be happier with the quality and the honest way it was represented . It was delivered in a timely manner and I am sure it will become a family treasure to be passed down thru the generations . Wow, just gorgeous! I have wanted a buffalo rug for years, and this year I bought one as a Christmas gift to me. I just received the rug and laid it out in my family room and it is perfect. Not a flaw in the skin and the fur is so deep and plush. Love walking on it barefoot. I also have 5 German Shorthair Pointers and they love the Buffalo rug too. I look forward to enjoying this rug for many many years.

This hide is undoubtedly the best buy and product I've ever had on Amazon. It's in excellent condition tanned in traditional manner instead of chemically and will last for generations if taken care of properly. I liked it so much that the day it was delivered I purchased another one. Although it's a bit pricey by about $400, I believe it is still well worth the price. I can not recommend high enough.

So if you are the type of person too look at something online and wonder if the product is legit or not, you tend to read review after review, and in the end you still aren't sure unless you see it for yourself. But DONT WORRY, this is a top quality hide! One of the best I've ever seen so far. From the moment I opened the box and saw it I was amazed with how well the tanning process was executed. So much soo that due too a lack of preferable living conditions, my pictures dont do the justice this hide deserves. Got the good ol government issued full size bed that the hide fully covers. It's nice and heavy for these Alaskan winters and look forward too having this for a very long time. Thank you so very much for this amazing hide! I have to say... This is the best thing I ever bought. Well worth the price, it's worth double! Tanned to perfection, perfect to snuggle up for those "chill out" evenings.
