Package and bottle were taped with scotch tape. Clearly not brand new and possibly tampered with.
The packaging and the bottle were both taped with scotch tape. I didn’t even open it up, as it clearly was tampered with. Clearly not brand new and super sketchy.

Great for Soft Wax
It's unscented, and is perfect for waxing with soft wax. It sucks it didn't come with the kit I had ordered but that's alright!

It's Just Talc, but Helpful for Use with Soft Waxes.
GiGi Pre Epilation Powder is plain talc, so this brand has no advantage over many others. But it is inexpensive and unscented, so I bought some to use before applying soft wax. I've been having trouble with GiGi's Honee Roll-On Wax irritating and damaging the top layer of my skin. It's a poor quality wax; it's too sticky. I used One Touch and Surgi roll-on waxes from the same company for over 30 years with no problems. But those waxes are discontinued, so I have to protect my skin from the GiGi Honee, which is the only wax currently available that fits in my warmer. The Pre Epilation Powder, otherwise known as talc, absorbs oil and moisture on the skin so that soft waxes can be applied more effectively. I like to leave natural oils on my skin when waxing, as they offer some protection from the wax. But perspiration could be a problem, and drying the skin with a towel may not be adequate. A thin layer of talc would be helpful in that case. I'm using it because I want to place something between my skin and the wax. It seems to help, and it doesn't interfere with the wax adhering to hair, so I will continue to use the powder with soft waxes. For hard waxes, you don't need talc. If you find that it's sticking to skin a bit, you can use a spare amount of mineral oil or pre-epilation oil before applying hard wax. But hard wax is much easier on skin than soft wax, and you may find you don't need anything under the wax. My one criticism of the Pre Epilation Powder is that it would benefit from a shaker top (with a cover). It has a top that dispenses the talc through one hole when the bottle is squeezed, which is not convenient for applying it evenly.
