Kotap Adjustable 24-Inch Bungee Cords, 10-Piece, Item: MABC-24 (Тhrее Pаck)

I had a hard time knowing what length strap to get based on previous reviews and descriptions. So after I bought the variety pack I thought I would post this for all to see. I found the 24” strap was the best length for me so bought this pack of 10 as well. The first image is the chart of all five straps. The first row of lengths is the resting strap length hook to hook as it would be connected. The second row is the strap stretched to the max length I would use it at. The second picture is the 24 inch strap adjusted to be the length of the 18 inch strap. This is to show that, when in doubt, buy the longer strap because it can easily be adjusted shorter. The third picture is a closer up of how the strap adjusts. It basically slides to any length until you pull it 90° and pinch it between the plastic forks. Hope this helps!

These are PHENONENAL. I've had lots of bungee cords, had I known about these would've bought them long ago. Top quality, awesome hooks, look great, and best of all the hooks are detachable and the cords adjustable- instructions not needed, a monkey could do it (but see below for how I did it and an alternate, quicker method, with photos). I bought a tarp to partially cover my motorhome and shield it from the hot sun (great if you're looking for one: Kotap 15-ft x 30-ft Heavy-Duty 12 by 12 Cross Weave 8-mil Reversible Green/Silver Poly Tarp, Item: TGS-1530), made by the same company, and by detaching the hooks, I could run the cords THRU the eyelets on the tarp for innumerable ways to anchor it. I'm not a DIY person, believe me, and by the time I was done the tarp was trussed like a turkey, could withstand the strongest wind, and looked like a professional did it. SO pleased! I used them all, now I'm buying more. Highest recommendation!Removing hooks (see photos): The end of each cord is doubled over and encircled by a heavy metal ring, like a thick staple. I took two pairs of pliers (one regular, one needlenose) and opened it up, pried it off. I'm not very strong and it took muscle, and even more muscle to put it back on, bend it back into shape around the doubled-up cord. So the next time around I snipped off the doubled up end and metal ring with tin snips, and removed the hook at one end. Then I ran the cord thru the desired eyelets on the tarp, and reattached the hook at the end. I fastened a zip-tie tightly to the end of the cord (don't even need to fold the cord back on itself this way), the zip tie keeps the cord from passing thru the hook. Then I cut off the excess zip tie. I used a white zip-tie, a black one would look better, blend right in. The zip tie works perfectly, doesn't slip, even when the cord is stretched at maximum tension. Quick and easy.

UPDATE(8/19) Used these now for awhile with great results. They adjust easily at both ends which is a fast feature I wanted to reduce tying up time on load size variation. The hooks are stronger then they look which I tested first for pull strength and was surprised these did not twist or bend while pulled to USEABLE limit. Someone posted a picture of the hooks (plastic covered metal) which the outer plastic was breaking away under stress. They should last for several years when used sporadically as I do tying up boxes or household items for moving or transport on a limited basis! For long endurance use or as outdoor storage (tarp/covers fastening) in the UV harsh environment, the heavy rubber and solid metal hook bungee that truckers use is the best long term solution for that. These bungees like most others will disintegrate in one year when used outdoors full time (used to tie grill covers year round in midwest every year, same result)! It’s just you use the right material for the intended purpose. These work as intended and better than expected. RH

I would say that these bungee cords are a good value for a mid to lightweight restraint. Very handy package of 10 adjustable bungee cords and can be used in a variety of ways. They are adjustable down to around 10 inches or so and are stretchable outward to maybe 40 to 45 inches. The length when laid out at rest is 32 inches. I wouldn't call these industrial strength restraints but are intended more for lighter type restraint. You would not feel comfortable securing something like a heavy appliance with these but these are handy for bundling objects together or securing tarps or perhaps luggage. I would feel comfortable with using this cord for maybe a season or two but would feel less confident with this type of stretchy type material for any longer duration, depending on the environment exposure. Good value though for a bundle of 10.

I needed bungee cords to keep my outdoor table cover from blowing away during a New York winter. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that there is such a thing as an adjustable bungee cord. These work amazing! Because they are adjustable, I was able to get very tight fit around the cover of my table. These are worth every penny. They are well made, and the cords themselves are substantial. The hooks and the part that attached the hook to the cord are plastic, but it seems to be high grade. I wrapped velcro straps around the hooks just in case, as the wind can be quite damaging in the winter and I didn't want to worry, with the ice and snow, that an attachment would snap from the cold and ice. These are way better than the cheap ones you get in the dollar stores, and they are adjustable!

I have more bungee cords than I know what to do with, but they are all different sizes, colors and quality. I bought these because they all look the same, are a consistent length, and the end hooks are a tough polymer, guaranteed not to scratch your motorcycle or other application. Most bungee cords are vinyl coated metal, and when the vinyl coating breaks off, and it always does, the metal hooks will scratch everything. The polymer seems strong enough so you don't have to worry about breaking, and will not scratch anything. The cords are fitted to the hooks quite well, but you will want to get a pliers and snap the cord ends into the polymer hooks to make the assembly flush...they come attached, but not pressed into the polymer receptacle. The steel wires that crimp the cord ends could conceivably scratch something. Looks to be of high quality.

These are a very good quality Bungee Cord. I have used them for various situations, such as tarping my boat, Travel Trailer, etc., and they do thejob very well. They are adjustable in length which is very convenient, no need to have a selection of various length cords. They are easily adjusted to the length you might require. You wont be disappointed with these.

These arrived promptly and I am very impressed with the quality. Looks like these will last through the winter. I particularly like the rugged, plastic coated hooks. I will buy more of these for sure for other household items

large plastic hooks added to big blocks of hard plastic...Very little stretch with only about 4 or 5 inches available.

Hello, my husband and I use these bungee cord‘s because we are musicians, and have to take with us as speaker system. We have a small cart and we use that to tide the bunch the bungee cords sorry to tie the speakers onto the cart so they don’t fall off. They work very well.

I have purchased other items from Kotap in the past and have always been pleased. Great price and quality. The way they can be shortened is very handy. You don't have to carry several sizes.

Bought these to strap down stuff on my motorcycle, they get the job done! The only thing is They can be kind of tricky to tighten up once they are under tension

A LITTLE TIGHTER THAN THE ONE I COMAPRTED IT TOO.. NOT THE SAME BRAND.. SO FAR OK FOR THE LIGHT DUTY APPLICATIONS I HAVE USED IT ON

They're good bungies. They are adjustable but it's not easy to get them to stay at the desired length. Used them to tie down my bike bag to my bike and it worked great for months

I am happy with these bungee cords. Perfect for securing what I need and connect up inter linked really solid.

Does exactly as advertised. The only issue is that you need to clip the excess somewhere as it hangs.

The adjustability sets these apart from regular bungees. Hope the plastic hooks are sturdy.

I have been using the bungee cords for over a year now and none of them have broken on me yet. I definitely recommend this product.
