Set and forget
This is not a unit you will find reviewed in the main magazines. I bought it specifically because I am a Zen internet customer and they use Fritz for their routers. My router, which is a few years old and not 'beam-forming' meant I always had a wifi shadow in the house I live in. It's victorian, with brick walls and long and thin. With lockdown in swing and the family all WFH this became an issue. I could have bought a mesh kit but I figured that one well placed device would solve my issues, so I read the reviews and literature on the site and took a punt. It came from Germany faster than a bike part from Northampton I ordered on the same day, so no arguments with delvery. It came with UK plug and instructions (be sure you find the UK version on Amazon, check the details).I installed the app and had it up and running in a few minutes delivering five bars into kitchen where my wife is now not grumbling about reception. I am ok with computers but not great with networking but found this to be easy to set up with clear instructions. The app shows you how good your reception and signal is and helps you position the device in the room - it's all very clear.I could have bought something a lot cheaper but I wanted this to just work and stay reliable for a long time and I am glad I spent the money. At £100 it's cheaper than a lot of mesh kits if you know you obly need one device. My flat is long and thin, three bedrooms, lounge, kithcen and bathroom off a long hallway all on one level. Now get 5 bars everywhere with basically router at one end of the hallway and this device at the other end.Only downside... it looks like what it does, it's not very pretty!

Superb piece of kit
Over the years I've had various pieces of kit - routers, extenders and powerlines but after upgrading to FTTP I was given a Fritzbox router by my ISP. The router didn't have any aerials and looked a bit different but i've been with my ISP for probably 25 years and trust them so I gave it a go.The router ran well and connected to my existing extenders, crucially it didn't overheat and gave the exact speed I was paying for. The old repeaters gave 60% of the speeds I was paying for and the PS5 release finally broke me so I invested in two new Fritz 3000 repeaters and boy, what a difference. One is LAN connected at the end of the house and one sits as a wireless repeater in the other end, they both look slimline and unobtrusive but they work brilliantly. I have never had a wireless repeater give me anything like the 95% of the speed I am paying for.So I can only give this 5* and that's a pity as my wife is talking to me again; that should get at least 6*.

Very reliable, plug-and-play, 10 months in with no problems
We've been using this for 10 months so far and it's worked perfectly and reliably. It provides us with a strong wi-fi signal in the kitchen and the back of the house, and even provides a good signal in our detached garage. We have a Fritz!Box router and it really is plug and play. It can be fully configured from the Fritz!Box router web interface, but we've never had any need to tinker with the settings. It just works. There are so many poor reviews for wi-fi extenders (especially at the dirt cheap end of the market) but there are good products out there if you've the means invest in something more expensive.

Works well - but the range isn't as good as I had hoped.
The repeater was easy to set up and handles a high data rate quite well. Our house has thick walls and so I was quite sceptical about some of the claims made for a Fritz mesh system - and I was right to be so. We needed 2 x repeaters plus the Fritzbox in order to get house-wide coverage, and even now there are one or two areas where the signal isn't great. However...this is a huge step up from the BT Hotspot Repeaters I had previously, and overall I am very pleased with the Fritz repeater performance. At over £100 though, they are not cheap, so 'VFM' could be better.

Works brilliantly. Just one niggle though...
I should have got this ages ago. It was easy to set up thanks to clear instructions. It connected with my FritzBox router in no time and now I've got strong and seamless wifi throughout the house, enabling much better streaming in some rooms. In my case it is connected to the router by an ethernet cable but I have no doubt that if positioned correctly it would be just as effective over a wireless connection. My only issue, a minor one, is how it looks - white and plasticky and not at all discrete. For that reason , if I could give it 4.5 stars I would.

Great quality product.
This is a very good product and performs much better than the repeater it replaced. Not cheap, but as the saying goes you get what you pay for.Very easy to set up. You click the UK style plug into the power adaptor. (It comes with both UK and continental ones). Then press the connect buttons on the extender and router, wait a couple of minutes and it's ready to go. The Fritz! app makes finding the best location for the box easy. This has made a vast improvement to the wifi around the house.

It just works
As with all Fritzbox gear it's just brilliant, and does exactly what it says on the tin.Easy to setup, this device creates a seamless extension to the household WiFi. assuming you already have a Fritzbox router it simply expands the Mesh.It can of course be used as a stand alone WiFi access point/repeater but it would be pretty excessive/expensive way to do that. The key function here is the Mesh expansion, a job this device does perfectly. The bridge back to the Fritzbox router can be done both wirelessly or wired. I'm using it wired and it works, great. It does come with a UK plug if anyone is concerned about grey market imports. Comes with A UK plug
