Excellent product!
This battery holds a long charge and met all our needs. It is a little lighter then the OEM Sony battery, but held a long charge and worked without issue. Even if it is not as long as the Sony OEM battery you can buy 4 of these batteries for the price of 1 Sony OEM battery. I bought two for each one of our cameras and they work great!

Great price for huge battery
I bought this battery to power my YN-600 LED panel. The LED panel has slots for 2 batteries but runs just fine and for a long period of time on just one of these DCR-VX2000's. I would say how long it last but I have used the panel a number of times on one charge and I haven't recharged the battery yet - after a week.

Exactly what you need for LED lights
If you're using YN300 or YN600 led lights, or really anything like that which can use a sony battery. Go with these. As long as they fit, they're not that heavy and they last for hours.I bought 3 and will probably buy a few more to have as spares, but in my YN300s anyway they last about 4 hours on full brightness.Reasonably good quality batteries, seem to hold charge for at least a few days too which is always nice in these "Generic" sony batteries.

A must have for LED lLights
Worked well with my Yougnuo YN300 LED. Didnt last as long as advertised but oh well just need to buy a couple more.

Low mAh, Bad Quality, Clearly Deceptive... DO NOT BUY
I ran a test on my Atomos shogun to see what the difference in battery life of this product vs my stock sony batteries. While the battery shell is technically a NP-970 shell, the battery isn't even a 2200 mAh... The description is clearly deceiving. I urge you even if you intend to purchase this product only buy 1 and see for your self so you can return it. I ordered a bunch of these before a trip over seas and wasn't able to return them now as I get back. To add insult to injury, one of the batteries had a "X" on the back of it and was a dead cell battery. They sent me stock that was knowingly defective... SMH

inconsistent
this battery works a described for the most part,however, it just dies out of nowhere, it does not show or indicate low battery or anything,It just dies! If you are working on a paid gig or something, this is very bad!However, I now use it just for lights, and it lasts several hours.

Excellent Battery Life
This battery last for a long, long time. I can videotape for close to 13 hours without having to recharge the battery. The key is to let the battery run out the first time and then fully charge it without turning on the appliance or electronic. This is a good rule to follow for any new battery.
