It’s a great price on good glue.
The container is easy to store and even pour, and it’s nice to be able to get a greater quantity. Titebond I is an excellent glue and is what I use for almost all of my woodworking and electric guitar making (outside of hide glue on reversible joints). It is strong, easy to clean up with water, doesn’t creep over time, and has an acceptable open time. I wouldn’t use it where you are dealing with a lot of moisture, go with the more water resistant Titebond II for that, but it remains less hard through it’s life, so there are trade offs. I go with the original more often than not.

Great glue for wood to wood, especially repair work.
I bought this to repair a guitar neck that had a crack in it, but before I got around to that project, I had a kitchen cabinet that acquired a split in the face frame (long story). I removed the door, worked glue back into the split with finger pressure and a toothpick, and clamped the cabinet. I used a damp paper towel to clean up the 'squeeze' (that little bit of glue that is compressed out of the crack when clamped.), and washed my hands to get that little bit of glue off of them. It might not be a bad idea to wear nitrile or latex gloves for that finger work to simplify cleanup. I left the clamps on for 24 hours, then removed them. The cabinet looks as good as new.

The Glue You Grab When You Want It Done Right
This is one of those products that’s been around forever for a reason. If you’ve ever done any woodworking, furniture repair, or small home fixes, this glue just works—no drama. It has a quick initial tack, so pieces don’t slide around, but you still get enough working time to line things up properly before clamping. The thickness is actually one of its biggest advantages. It’s not watery and runny, but also not so thick that it’s hard to spread. It stays where you put it, fills small gaps nicely, and gives you an even glue line without dripping everywhere. That makes clamping cleaner and more predictable, especially on joints that need precise alignment. Technically, it’s a PVA wood glue that bonds stronger than the wood itself once fully cured. I’ve used it for wood-to-wood joints and furniture repairs, and the joint always ends up rock solid. Important part though: don’t rush it. You really want to use clamps and leave it clamped for at least 24 hours. It sets fast, but the real strength comes after a full day. Clamp it and walk away. Once dry, it sands cleanly without clogging sandpaper, which is a big plus. Cleanup is easy too—wipe any squeeze-out with a damp cloth while it’s still wet. It doesn’t foam, doesn’t expand, and doesn’t mess with finishes as long as you clean excess glue properly. Just keep in mind this is meant for interior use, not outdoor or moisture-heavy jobs. For the size and price, it’s solid value for money. No gimmicks, no surprises—just a reliable, professional-grade wood glue with the right thickness, strong hold, and predictable results, as long as you clamp it and give it the time it needs.

Sticks to the wood well
I bought this glue because I needed to fix my door hinges. I put some toothpicks in there and put this glue and screwed the screws back in and low and behold, I had to issues!

I had bought an expensive dining room table and chairs made of oak. 7 days after the warranty went out, a chair brake at one of the joints. It didn't splinter; it simply came apart. The company I bought it from told me it would be very expensive for them to fix it. I thought my last hope was this wood glue but not being a carpenter, I didn't know what to expect. The chair is like new, probably even stronger than my other chairs and since it is in a joint, there is no sign that it was ever fixed. The only thing I did to prepare the wood before gluing was to lightly sand the two surfaces that would be bonded together. I highly recommend this product.
