Metagenics Fem EstroPlex is definitely on the expensive side—regularly $71, currently on sale for $64—but I feel the quality and formulation justify the cost. I’ve been using this for a while as part of my perimenopause support routine and have noticed real benefits. My recent labs confirmed healthy estrogen levels, and I believe this supplement may be contributing to that. It’s not cheap, but it’s one I’ll continue using because it works for me.

This seems to be a high quality formulation, I have been using for a few week and no negative side effects.

These small horrible.. the smell hits you when you open the bottle. Luckily it doesn't taste as bad as it smells, and they didn't have any aftertaste. To soon to know if they are helping with my symptoms, but at least I didn't have any issues taking them.

This supplement has wonderful plant ingredients such as cranberry for urinary tract health, valerian for that natural calm and the incredibly nutritious stinging nettle. It also has a nice little dose of vitamin c and b vitamins. The great thing is that the vitamins here are not so much that you have to forgo your multivitamin if you take one. The B vitamins are water soluble, and the vitamin E is a small amount. This is also a pretty clean supplement, which is gluten free and made by a US company. This is a hard, large pill, not a capsule. It will not be easy for many to swallow; I wouldn't even try. HOWEVER, I found it quite easy to split the pill in half and this made taking it easy! Even though I take HRT, I love that this provides natural support that I find works in concert with the HRT. I don't see any downside to adding natural and safe support from well-studied plants and vitamins! They are not inexpensive but if you need the support, you just need it!

I just started taking Metagenics Fem EstroPlex, so it’s too early to tell how well it works for menopausal support. I picked it because of the clean ingredients and the brand’s reputation, and I like that it’s non-GMO, gluten-free, and vegetarian.That said, I’m not thrilled about the format. You’re supposed to take it three times a day, but the tablets are a bit on the large side for me. I have to cut them in half just to manage, and I’d much prefer a capsule version. They also have a mild smell...not awful, but noticeable, and thankfully no weird aftertaste.I’m still giving this product time to see if I feel any real changes, but based on the size and frequency alone, it loses a few points. If it ends up working well, I’ll power through it, but I do wish the manufacturer had considered an easier-to-swallow option.
