Seresto Large Dog Vet-Recommended Flea & Tick Treatment & Prevention Collar for Dogs Over 18 lbs. | 2-Pack

I’ve had my dog wearing one of these collars for around 6 months now and it doesn’t bother her or irritate her skin at all. She’s been in water and had baths since having it on too and it’s holding up well. We just recently went to the park, got home and noticed a tick on her ear. I grabbed tweezers to get it off and to my pleasant surprise, it was dead! The ingredients in the collar must have done their job in killing the tick! I am so relieved. So far I have not noticed any fleas either. I love that this is an effective, affordable option for flea/tick prevention for my dog, as the topical treatment can be so expensive. Definitely recommend.

Honestly one of the best flea preventatives I have ever used. My dog is 55 pounds and it fits him perfectly I did have to cut off some excess but that is ok with me. My border collie is pretty active and playful and I have never had any issues with it breaking or falling apart or coming off. I do take him bi-weekly for baths and remove this collar every time he gets a bath and never had any issues with it breaking. It is also pretty easy to remove and put back on with little to no issues. These are expensive sure but WORTH the money my dogs have been around other dogs that had fleas and never seem to get fleas.

I bought 2 collars for my dogs in April of this year. We bathed and groomed our dogs before we put the collars on and we are still finding ticks on both dog's. Doesn't seem to be working on our dogs, I don't know if there was anything bad, I order this Serto collars every year and these are bad. I do alot of shopping at Amazon, and never had to complain about anything. These are just bad.

My dog had a negative reaction for the first 24hrs. After that the dog was normal and the fleas are totally gone. This is by far the best flea treatment, if your dog doesn’t die from it. I’ve read about 4k+ people complained to regulators that their pet died from this chemical, so research and decide how bad you want to get rid of those fleas.

Our vet warned us that many dogs have had seizures from Seresto collars, some of them fatal. I was worried when I googled this issue. But this collar has worked great for our 65 lb. pit bull. No health problems or concerns at all. And best of all, no ticks - and we live at the edge of some woods. And it's super easy. I put the collar on in March and it's effective until November. Just one caution: TAKE IT OFF BEFORE YOU BATHE YOUR DOG. We forgot to take the Seresto collar off before a bath and our dog was sick for three days. I guess the soap and water released too much toxin from the collar all at once. We kept dousing our dog's body with lots of cool, clear water and he finally recovered. But that was scary.

This collar works to keep all bugs off my dog. I have a shaded yard that she likes to stay out in during the mild months and she’s never had any flea/tick issues with one of these collars on. She has no signs of irritation or anything like that but I do hope there’s nothing leeching into her, the collars are far more effective than Front Line or Advantix which are both transdermal chemicals applied directly to skin, they have obvious health risks. Hopefully this collar isn’t hurting my dog in any other ways but then here we are, 16 years later and she’s healthy, active and still acts like a big puppy.

If you’re wondering if it works, it most certainly does. My dog was having tick problems and I was going crazy. I had tried dips which did work but I honestly didn’t feel comfortable leaving that on my dogs skin. She literally hasn’t had a single tick since the day we put it on. It’s comfy enough for her, didn’t irritate her skin or anything. Has lasted well over the recommend amount of time. I do remove it when she gets baths. I would 100% buy again and recommend to everyone!

Price is ridiculously high it used to be $40 now it’s twice as much would like to see it purchased in America and bought in America without the high tariffs so going to keep looking for a product that is made here.
