I work at a professional restaurant , I used the knife to thinly slice 2 French Baguettes 1/8 thick on a 45 degree bias , it cut cleanly and quickly I highly recommended.

I had a fine-tooth serrated knife that began to fall apart at thr handle. I wanted something that had a bit more use. This knife is great! I think my favorite thing is the patterns that are made when you cut a mango. Try it if you have one.

Lighter weight than most serious knives and the price is about 20% of my Henckels knives. There is a place for both styles in my kitchen but I do reach for this knife for most chopping.
