Worked great on 1972 Ford F-250
If you have a bumpside, this works perfectly. I had to do a little drilling on the frame, but that was more because a previous owner had welded 1/4" steel plates to mount a bumper. The kit fit the factory holes just fine. The bumper is maybe out a little bit and down a bit more than a factory installation, but for a quick solution it worked well. I can always drill 4 new holes in the frame and move it if needed.

Unlike what some others have said, it will work with a 1972-1993 Dodge Ram.
A few others who reviewed this mounting kit for their rear bumper in regards to their Dodge pickups mentioned returning it due to not fitting, or having to drill new bolt holes, use spacer plates, and so on. However, I think this is due to the instructions simply being incorrect. In order for it to bolt up as intended, you need to put the bracket on the outside of the frame rail as stated in the instructions, but put the offset inward rather than outward, as it also says. I held the new bumper up with a jack and simply tightened each nut and bolt little by little to draw the brackets and the bumper mounting points together, as well as the same with the frame rail. Once you have the bumper mounted firmly to the brackets, you can loosen up the bolts to the frame so that you can push the bumper into an upright position, then tighten down again. This solution took me a fair bit of trial and error to come up with though, I feel like the instructions should be amended for this oversight. Other than that, it does the job well enough.

Good strong bumper
I had to buy a different mounting kit than the one recommended. Same cost bought from the manufacturer. It's a good sturdy bumper. It's very slick when wet. It's gray in color.

You bought it and they don't care if you can mount it.
The instructions are horrible. The hand drawn diagram is almost as bad. I'm not giving it one star because the kit doesn't work. It does work, at least on a 95 Ford F250. But whoever wrote the instructions never put a bumper on a truck. No one in the company ever tried to put a bumper on a truck using these instructions. The brackets are stamped L & R which is exactly the opposite of where they go. You will waste a half hour finding that out for yourself. Not all the hardware is there if you happen to need it for your application. Bracket extenders are included but never explained. Don't look at the bolt holes on the diagram. They are just wrong compared to the actual bracket. Look for a round notch and a square notch and you can get the brackets in the correct orientation from those notches, hopefully on the correct side. I didn't. Good luck.

Assembly directions were a little confusing and the parts went together fairly well.
Installation instructions didn't match my vehicles mounting specifications or positions.Had to improvise to get proper secure fit.
