Most Excellent Stand, Most Excellent Price
I looked around and being very cost conscious and concerned about function, features and looks I settled on this monitor stand. Simply put this was the best $34 I've spent in a long time. Sure you can spend a lot more and get just as much. Or perhaps spend more and get adjustable arms, which would be nice. If you plan to use 23" or 24" displays this is the stand to get. Just be aware the arms are not adjustable in or out so if you have small screens and want them to touch you have to move the arms forward until they do. This isn't ideal for most, but if you have a corner desk and want to put the mount in the corner, yet have the monitors closer then this would be a great mount for you. Ultimately look at the pictures posted by another customer. These show you exactly what you get.The base is too large and I never really had intentions to use it. I mounted the stand directly to my desk as shown in the customer posted pictures. Not discussed is all that is needed is a single 3/8" hole drilled squarely through the desktop. This works great and is super sturdy. There is zero play in the mount pole.Pros:* Awesome price ($54.55 shipped - sweet!)* Prompt delivery from EasyMountLCD* Sturdy design* Good looks* Easy assembly, with clear instructions (I didn't need them)* Monitor stand is adjustable in the following ways o Arms move forward and backward (use to bring monitors close together or spread them apart depending on preference and screen size) o Mounts move/tilt up, down, left and right o Mounts swivel to change from landscape to portraitCons:* Base is very large (no doubt to handle the load of monitors especially due to the nature of the arms)* Arms are not adjustable* Cable management on the arms isn't very useful (I just used black zip ties and the cables melted away)* No cable management on the pole (again zip ties took care of this)Update 01/25/12:My apologies I incorrectly stated the purchase price with shipping. The actual cost I paid for the unit was $54.55 shipped ($38.65 + $15.90 s&h), which is still a great price when compared to other offerings. I see the price went up about $5, but even then it's a great deal.

Exceptional Product, Low Price
This is a great product, in just about every way. Frankly, I'm surprised to receive such a high quality product at this price. I usually write short reviews, but this product is so good in so many ways it deserves a more lengthy review. I'll present its good characteristics in the order I encountered them.PackagingIt comes in a large box. When you open it, the care taken in packaging it is evident. And as you open the package for each piece, the fit and finish are surprising. The parts all have a sleek, smooth black finish. The sleeves that clamp onto the vertical rod have liners so that they hold well. The nuts and bolts are all quite sturdy. And they give you a hex wrench for some large Allen screws and a wrench for some large nuts. Right away you notice that the base is large and heavy--this baby does not need to be clamped to the desk top, and it is not going to move around.AssemblyI presumed the stand was shipped in pieces, and wondered how much work I'd have to do. Do I have to build it? No worry, you won't even need the instructions. First, the vertical rod screws to the base with three screws. Then the two horizontal arms slide onto the vertical pole, and each is tightened with a substantial Allen setscrew. With the Allen wrench that's supplied. When you have it all put together, it's easy to see that it's going to hold all your displays without a problem.AdjustingThe horizontal arms slide up and down, and you tighten them with the setscrew. Once you have the monitors on the arms, both moving it up and down and loosening and tightening is done more easily with four arms than two, so get a helper if you can. If you can't it's still doable but you'll wish for help. Similarly, when you put the four screws into the back of each monitor you'll find it easier to do if you have help. Alternatively, you can put all the monitors face down, put the rack on top, and fasten them all. You may need help to lift it into place, but it'll be easy to put it together. Each of the arms is hinged near where it meets the center pole, so the monitors can angle toward you. The fitting that holds the monitor also swivels, so the monitors can point upward and downward. Net of all this is that you can adjust the monitors to be quite convenient to use. I wondered whether I'd like having a second row of monitors that was elevated, but I have the upper monitors angled down a little, and it's quite convenient. The monitor comes with all the screws you need, in two different lengths. The brackets have two sets of holes in a square array, presumably for the two standard arrays of screw fittings.CautionBe sure that the monitors you want to put on the rack have the standard square array of holes on the back for mounting. Some of the newest thin monitors don't have them--and there is not away to mount a monitor that doesn't have those holes.SummaryThis is a terrific product at a low price. No need to buy anything more expensive. I'm using the rack now (10/15) and will update this review if anything happens to change my opinion.

Problem with elbows
Stand is very good, however what wasn't visible from the photographs of the stand were the elbo joints in the monitor arms. When you've got smaller screens (in my case 22"), and if you want the screens close together you have to bend the elbows which prevents you pushing the stand right back against a wall or desk divider. I've purchased similar stands in years past which instead of the elbows they had straight arms and you could slide the monitors along the arms if you wanted them close together. This avoided the problems with the elbows pushing backwards and taking up space. Aside from this limitation of the design the stand is very good.
