A necessary vitamin for older eyes that was recommended by ophthalmologist. Haven’t noticed vision change but hope it prevents macular degeneration with continued use.

There is nothing that I dislike about Lutine. Until recently I had never heard of it. I've been battling glaucoma for about 3.5 yrs now. Had been to an ophthalmologist, had been to retinologist, all they did is prescribed eye drops and nothing was improving. So I took matters to my own hands and started relying on natural herbal type medication. By taking 40 mg 2X/day of the lutine along with a combination of herbs in stuff called NEUROPTENE 1 capsule,2X/day, which has bilberry, grape seed extract, and several other herbs, along with 240MG 2X/day of Ginkgo Biloba all of them designed to help relieve the pressure in the eyes that causes the glaucoma. That combined with a new type of eye drops that was prescribed by my ophthalmologist. I'm putting down the dosage of what I take simply because this combination works for me. For anyone else, you'll have to experiment with it and see what works for you. But, I'm Amazed at how my vision is coming back! I sing, I was having extreme difficulty reading the words to my music. I've been taking this combination of herbs for about 6 weeks now and my vision is improving tremendously, I can now read the words again, and I'm even beginning to see better at night to the point that I'm going to try to start driving a little bit more and see if I can conquer driving at night again. So summed up if you've got glaucoma get gluten and do this other stuff and your vision should improve as mine has. It's a slow subtle process. Don't Expect it to start working overnight. Be Patient and let nature do what is is supposed to do. As I said, for me it's like just recently I have realized how clear my vision is becoming how much better my depth perception is improving. So try it.

Good quality lutein 20mg. Others that I tried had 2%, not that great to help my eyes. Just what the optometrist recommended!

Good stuff

It was suggested to me to take lutein daily for eye floaters, as mine were getting pretty severe -- lots of crap in my vision that was honestly becoming disruptive. I was given the advice to give it a month or more before I would start to see results. I've tried this stuff in the past, and it didn't seem to do anything, but as I stack a lot of supplements I don't think that I tried long enough without dropping them. I kept at it this time and I do believe that these do the trick for floaters. It doesn't entirely eliminate them, by any means, but it makes them somehow far less objectionable and disruptive. I now have this on autoship as it really does seem to "work" for its intended purpose. I can still see the floaters, but I am no longer plagued by them. It helps, too, that these vitamins are small, coated, odorless, and very easy to take. Even if they aren't working absolute miracles, they help, and aren't difficult to add to a daily vitamin regimen.
