ROCOTACTICAL Tactical Sniper Top Ghillie Base Airsoft Hunting Ghillie Suit Foundation

This would be great for airsoft or non professional use. It did a great job covering just the parts I wanted ghillied up. With that being said, I do not airsoft. I built this for work (Police Sniper) and it will not fit my needs. I first noticed the fabric begin to rip during the weathering process. I went to pick it up by placing my hand inside of the hood and lifting up. My fingers pushed right through the fabric. Then as I was dragging the suit through some brush, one of the netting sections for the arms came completely off. I checked the rest of the netting and about 50% of the contact points had ripped free. The stitching is good, the coverage is well thought out, but unfortunately the material used is not tough enough. I would suggest ripstop. I just ordered some ripstop in MC and plan on sewing something up myself that is similar and re-using the netting with the jute already attached.

I’ve veen looking for a viper hood for quite some time. Then I found this gem. Already broke one.*some of the tie areas on the hood are huge, they should have been sewn every 1 1/2”.All in all is a good cheap airsoft replica. It could be much better though. The whole thing should have been make out of the mesh they use on the hood side panels. I had to dye it then spray paint it before I built it up.

excellent piece of equipment. materials are well built. netting on head piece is strong. all points on mine were solidly sewn and secured. all cord stops were functional. color was good and as expected.I "weathered" my materials prior to fixing them to the tog. Will use this for hunting deer and is the second piece or type I now own.I chose to tan and a few strands of green in each bundle I put on. 10 tan to 2 or 3 green on every one. chose to go sparse instead of overloading it.well worth it for the price!

Fits really well, it's lightweight and the Multicam pattern is good. I like the multiple attachment points for jute to be tied, they are all very well sewn and fixed in place. The only detraction (be it minor) is the plastic buckles along the back, which are somewhat large (black colored) and loose fitting, which make a rattling noise. I fixed this problem by carefully heating them with a heat gun and gently squeezing, then painted them tan. The multiple cinch bungees are well constructed, but also a black, which I spray painted tan and they had lots of extra cordage I cut off. In all, it's definitely worth the money and I didn't mind making the minor improvements I made because it's well constructed overall.

I am a qualified army sniper and I was looking for a cheap alternative to many other viper hoods on the market. Overall I was impressed with the hood. After applying jute and dirtying it up, the hood was able to fit into a dump pouch on my kit and I could pull it out and wear it quickly when needed. The only complaint is that the inside is white, so we spray painted the interior. Overall it is a good piece of gear to have and is durable enough to handle actual military operations.

I turned the product into what's shown into the picture. In a short amount of time working on it, I'm very content with the outcome. Have yet to field test it, and see how the actual top stands in durability. Seems relatively strong. Has some mesh on the hood for air circulation. With all I have on it, it's not heavy, could wear for a day straight in some heat no problem. On a nice day I'll give it a field test and update the review.

A good quality product.But made for someone considerably smaller than 5'11" with broad shoulders.Sizing data would be helpful. If you are about 5'8" and slim, this will fit well; otherwise it is a snug fit.

I had to knock off a stat because the fabric used has a bright white backing to it!?! It really is visible in the woods. So I had to spray paint it. I added lots of string to make it look like a bush. I use it for paintball and airsoft games, it works well.I would buy it again.

With the proper time put in (and a ton of jute) this makes a fantastic hood that stays in place, is highly adjustable and doesn't get in the way of your plates or chest rig. Build quality is astonishingly good at this price (but consider you are about 100-150 dollars in jute and about 5-12 hours of work away from calling it job done).

Nothing but good things to say. Made out of high quality fabric and netting, the stitching is very strong and the product gives you a lot of adjustable features. Love the colour I selected and how I can customize the hood with the jute twine colours I bought separately that match my local region. Just wish they made a cape for the green viper hood that has the same colour instead of just brown and khaki

When this arrived, I immediately put it on, and not gonna lie, it looked pretty dumb. However I proceeded to spend that evening adding jute and vegetation to the suit and now it looks really, REALLY nice. I threw it down on the forest floor and had I not know it was there, I probably would have walked right by. If yo are looking at this as and alternate to the super expensive one from SC ghillie, go for it.

I bought for my son as he plays airsoft. It allows him the ability to be hidden and not sweat when playing. I recommend this product 100%.

When you don’t have the time to put on a whole guillie suit or one isn’t required. Good quality stitching and sturdy buckles. Many points for scrim and improvised foliage to suit various environments

Looks super neat! The color is nice, well made and its a bargain for this price! This can easily go up to 100$-120$ on other sites. For airsoft/cosplays, its perfect!
