Exactly as described.
During our recent Arctic Freeze Storm; it was a relief for me to know that I had these stored away for a disaster. They were easy to fix and tasted on a scale from ok to great. None of them caused any gluten issues. It is nice to know there is a company out there that I can rely on for disaster food. I would also be comfortable taking their packages of gf food camping.

Great ingredients
I haven’t tried this yet as it is for emergencies but the ingredients look great. I am relieved to have this for my family in case we ever need it. A ten year self life is really good too. Thank you for making a vegan and gluten free product!

I bought these as an emergency food supply, so I don't plan to eat them soon, but even if they just taste OK, keeping family/friends/myself alive that is good enough. Other reviewers indicated they taste fine so I am alright with that recommendation. My impressions, the good, the bad, and the uglyThe good:Completely plant based meals with a long shelf life - its not easy to find this type of product, and I appreciate that somebody makes them. They came on time, and the packages appear undamaged. They are much healthier than typical back packing, MRE, or dehydrated foods containing cheese, milk, beef/pork/lamb, and refined grains, etc (typically those types are loaded with saturated fat and cholesterol the fastest way to heart disease and cancer). This product supplies a good source of protein and healthy carbohydrates. Its supplies enough calories for about 15 days, that will last at least decade, at a cost of about $9 dollars per day. It also means you don't have to rotate food every few years. I am a fan all things considered. The bad:For food to last 10 plus years usually it will be high in sodium, "added" sugar, or both. I am ok with that for an emergency food supply. The product did not come in single meal sized packages. There were six large bags each containing a different entree. That means you get about 2.5 full days worth of calories per bag. Once opened a bag should be used soon and stored in a cool dry place, and not exposed to light/air.The ugly:The entire shipment contains 30,900 calories (assuming my math is correct - if my calculation is off by more than 3000 Kilocalories please contact me and I will adjust my review). That means in a non-survival situation it would provide the average person about 15 days worth of food or about 2000 calories per day. The 30 day claim by the supplier is not accurate. The product does not contain enough oil for long term health (most humans in the US have a reasonable supply of essential fat stored in the body to last a few weeks). We need a minimum of 20% of calories from oil (not fat) per day to meet our essential needs. Adding two or more tablespoons of a healthy oil (canola or olive), or 5 tablespoons of *ground* flax seeds per day would extend the calories and provide some of the essential healthy fats needed for human health. For anyone reading this who thinks canola oil is not healthy - you are getting your nutrition information from the worst possible sources, canola oil is not harmful and its a good source of Omega 3 fats which are essential on a plant based diet.

Best Gluten-free option I found for Emergency Kit
After searching through all the options on Amazon and beyond, it was easy to check the box on getting supplies together with this kit. Packages come in resealable pouches, so you can take out a serving and seal it back up. Seems like decent healthy food for folks who usually are careful with what they eat in general, and really grateful everything is gluten-free. Came in a relatively small box that was easy to fit on shelf in coat closet- so good for small apartments. Liked that this shipped direct from manufacturer and had expiration date of 10 years from month purchased. Can't speak to flavor, but look forward to trying it in 9.5 years on several camping trips.

No complaints
Florida seems to love hurricanes, so I have these long-term storage foods on hand in case we lose electricity. I can’t attest to the flavor because we haven’t eaten any, but the ingredients are ones that we eat regularly, so I expect the prepared foods will taste good. Make sure you keep a supply of water because that is the only ingredient you add to prepare the meals.

High quality food, you might want to add some spices.
This food was more bland than you might think, but in some ways that was good because you could add hot sauce on the dinners, or cinnamon & apples to the breakfast, and make it interesting with each meal. The food is very high quality, and very easy to cook by adding hot water and stirring. It's a great price for so much food!

Got these for my gluten dairy free son as he goes to college in a tornado-ridden place. A few years ago we had a bad snow storm in the south and the college he was at shut down. No cooks came to the cafeteria for 4 days. The vending machines were all empty with no restaurants open. So he has food and a quick way to cook if something like that happens where he is. Of course, we had to try some, so I brought an extra bag. Very easy to use and tasty.
