Leblanc Bliss L210N Wooden Clarinet

Lovely instrument . Beautiful. only down side is the fact it comes with the Bonade inverted ligature which doesn't fit correctly on the clarinet. we have not tried any of the ideas such as black electrical tape or roughing up the surface as we have read in some online reviews of the Bonade inverted ligature. too bad they don't offer a choice of a regular ligature. my daughter uses the vandoren mouthpiece band teacher insists on.

I purchased this for my son who is a sophomore in high school who plays in the band. His band director had been advising him to get a step up model clarinet. When I found this model, I was impressed by the price and knowing LeBlanc is a great brand, I purchased it, even though the band director had only suggested Yamaha and Buffet. The Bliss L210N is a beautiful instrument. The difference in tone between this clarinet and the plastic starter Vito my son had is not even comparable. The sound on this model is warm and rich and it is easy to play. You can see the quality of this instrument the minute you open the box and the deep brown grenadilla wood is gorgeous. I would highly recommend this model to anyone who is looking for an affordable, high quality instrument. You will not be disappointed with a LeBlanc. Even the band director was impressed.
