Everything I wanted for my 1 year old son's play area.
Beautiful and vibrant. Just what I wanted. I looked at a lot of alphabet cards on Amazon and this one fit my needs perfectly. It was surprising to see no reviews on this great learning resource. Photo cards are 8.5" in length, so I am able to laminate them myself with my small laminator. I am a elementary teacher and an online ESL teacher. It's important for kids to get photos of real objects, instead of silly cartoon pictures that look nothing like the real thing. Also these cards have the labels for the object, so kids can connect text with photo. Photos are of object's that have short letter sounds, which is awesome. Set includes common digraphs as well, which is a bonus. Photo cards have upper and lowercase letters. Shipped flat, so no bended or curled edges. No, the photo cards aren't Prime, but still free shipping and came in 2 days even though they had given me an estimated delivery date of about a week out. Everything I wanted for my 1 year old son's play area. P.S. My son can recognize the shape bias for about 20 words. Don't underestimate the power of connecting text to real photos. It works.

Product was previously used.
My set arrived in a very large flat box, presumably to keep the cards from bending in the large sheet from which they were to be punched out. But the set I received had previously been opened, the bag partially torn and restapled. And the cards had already been perforated and separated which means some were bent and many looked used. But it’s a good set for letter recognition…unfortunately the “I” was for “ice”, not a short I sound. And “x-ray” is an unfortunate choice for “x”. (Should be “fox” to help with decoding that sound.) All the letters were included, and I’m happy to keep the set which is intended for a toddler who enjoys letters. These would need to be laminated for classroom use.
