Hello, the standard/queen (jumbo) size protector fits pillows 20 x 28 inches and up to 6 inches tall.

Are these cloth inside and out? No "membrane" or plastic-like lining?

This product is fabric and does not contain a plastic or poly lining on either the inside or outside.

No sounds are made. Would never know they were there.

Do Feathers poke through this pillow case?

That's going to partially depend on the quality of your feather pillow. However, one positive for this pillowcase is that it's a fairly substantial fabric. Additionally, you could potentially double up two of them on one pillow. But some cheap feather pillows are pokey enough that they might still poke. Please pay attention to the reviews indicating that this is a smaller size of pillow case. It is more like a flat standard pillow rather than a queen size. I mentioned this because I know a lot of feather pillows are high loft.
