Q: Not working like it should for me. Any other suggestions?

Make sure your iron is warm- no steam. Rub the paste over the faceplate and then "iron" over the cloth. Works loke a charm for me. Hope this helps.

Q: How long does cleaner Last? Anyone use a homemade paste with baking soda instead?

Lasts until your iron gets scorched or sticky again🤔I don’t think I’d use baking soda because it’s abrasive

I purchased this for the purpose of removing scum on the bottom of the iron. I don’t think it’ll remove the smell. But this works great!

Q: Can this be used on a rotary ironer plate?

I am not familiar with an rotary ironer plate so I am not sure. I can tell u it worked very well on my regular iron.
