Very Impressed
Purchased fan 10 days ago but dreaded assembly. What with heat wave predicted in Southern California I decided to set it up today. The last fan I purchased not only baffled me with assembly instructions but took my handy man 30 minutes to put together. Thankfully this tower fan was easy to put together: simply hook cord in flute, attach 2 base pieces together and fix with plastic nut.Nut, what nut? I panicked and checked plastic bags and box, awfulizing, imagining that likely nut was not included. Whoa, it was the (super) large white nut (over an inch in diameter) attached to the bottom of the base. In under 3 minutes my living room was blessed with cool air and the lack of noise was most impressive. My only complaint is that product description failed to state that batteries (AAA 1.5v, non-rechargeable) were not included. What do I care since I'm an able bodied person that rarely uses a remote for a fan located 9 feet away? All the same, it would have been nice if batteries were either included or advised in advance for the need to purchase.I am so pleased that I immediately ordered 2 more fan towers for my upstairs bedrooms. Hopefully I'll recoup product cost through lower A/C bills this summer.I cannot comment on sleep mode, remote, or longevity of this tower fan, but my action in purchasing 2 more speaks for itself! I am very pleased and trust that my initial impression holds up over time.

Overall it is good. A stand fan may be better for sleeping.
The fan itself is pretty good. Although if you are in a bed with a frame then I feel like not as much air is reaching YOU as it is just hitting the frame. Fans that are on a stand of some sort have the advantage in this way- they are higher up and thus will directly hit you with air even in a bed.But overall it's a good fan and I'd probably buy it again. The normal sound at max speed is kinda loud but I like that as a sound wall for sleeping. As for the sleep mode, I noticed it has inconsistent speeds which doesn't really make sense to me. It will blow for a while then slow down. That interrupts the sound wall - if someone relies on it to sleep. So I don't really use it unless I want it to be running quietly.Overall I recommend. A stand fan may be better for sleeping but this is pretty good as well. Also I'm sure the controller is handy, although I haven't actually used it much.

idk
So, I was looking for a good fan to circulate the air in my room. the A/C people came to my house & replaced all the ducts. my room is in the front & the sun hits it. during the day really isn’t that hot, but at night I like to be freezing, as does my dog. I have my ceiling fan on high and I keep the A/C at 70. Anything on high on this fan is loud. I feel sleep mode doesn’t get as cold as normal. so for bed I keep at on medium normal. my bed is on a platform, so it isn’t high but this fan isn’t tall enough. I have to sit it on a stool at the end of my bed. idk if i’m just that hot or if the fan just isn’t strong enough. I mean it helps, but the walmart brand fan like this that I had worked waaaaay better. that thing used to have me freezing in the morning. so idk.

Perfect fan!
I love that the noise level is low, soft and soothing like a gentle breeze at each speed level yet the amount of air for each level is sufficient. I've been using this fan instead of the AC and it works well even while cooking supper, when the humidity is at its worst. No matter which speed level I set it on I can still cook and hear the TV and somehow the air coming out feels so much cooler! The 30" height and oscillating feature allows for a broader area of coverage. One of the uses is for when someone sleeps on the bunk beds. Our 3rd bedroom is small, there isn't enough space between the ceiling and top bunk for a ceiling fan and that room needs a fan the most. This fan can easily be placed to blow on both the lower and upper bunks. The sleep timer will come in handy for chilly mornings and the remote allows for change without getting out of bed - especially helpful for anyone sleeping on the top bunk!

Omg perfect
I buy a ton of stuff on amazon and this is the first time im writing a comment....What I was looking for :- Cool air : traditional fans will blow hot air... but this kind of fan will blow cool air. I don't know the science behind it.. but this is ultimately the second solution from having an AC- Have all these functions: timer, night mode, rotation, 3 level adjustment, remote control- Not too tall and light enough to carry with one hand : I wanted to be able to move it a lot especially when I'm vacuuming or just moving the fan to where I am- QUIET fan - this would be a dealbreaker.. i've returned a few fans before because they were intimidating (so loud).Yes if you want a quiet fan with cool air... buy this ! it's also a good price under $70 for what it is.

Great fan if noise is your concern
This is not a powerful fan but it is quiet. If you’re looking for a tower fan that has a strong powerful air flow this isn’t for you. If you’re looking for a quiet, smooth oscillating, nice looking straight forward tower fan then this would be a good purchase for you. I wanted it for a small room where there is a wall of open French windows but no a/c. I use the treadmill, do yoga and work out in this room - it doesn’t cool it down or provide a solid strong “breeze” - I do believe that if this was used in a room with a/c in the hot months or in a cooler location in a small room it would be better.

Excellent Fan - Cools room exceptionally well
Best fan I've ever had! Easy to assemble, and even in a very hot house the air from the fan feels nice and cool. I bought two of these based on reviews I saw, because our a/c was out. The day they arrived it was 90 degrees in our house. Once we assembled a fan and turned it on, we felt nice and cool in that room. They are quiet, but still offer a gentle white noise, so they are great for sleeping if you need background noise. It's so great to have a remote and not have to get out of bed to turn it up or down. It also has a nice "natural" setting you can use that changes, so it's like an actual breeze. I've sent the link to two other people and they have since bought a fan and they love it, too.
