Lasted two and a half months and now it is dead.....I have no choice but to order another one I’m not happy

We bought this in October of 2020. The battery started out great but slowly started losing its charging power. It would last less and less time during each use. Now it is completely dead and won't even charge. What a bummer that things don't last like they use to.

This fits and works well in my Dyson cordless vacuum. The original battery stopped holding a charge after 3+ years. (Updated review) This battery held a charge and worked well for 2.5 years.

After 2.5 years, original battery was only lasting 15 minutes at normal suction. The Dyson replacement battery lasts much longer (as if brand new) and it was easy to install. Have only had it 2 mos but so far so good!

Just a note about reinserting the new battery into the existing charger: make sure you push the battery into the charger until you see the blue light come on. Otherwise, you haven’t made a connection and you will not have a vacuum ready the next time you need it.

The battery died quickly and the manufacturer, WTYPICS, doesn't seem to exist or have any customer service. If this company was reputable they would stand by their product and replace the item. One would expect a battery for an expensive machine like a Dyson to last more than 6 months. DON'T BUY THIS BATTERY!

My Dyson V8 seems better than new. But maybe it's just that I missed it so much. Don't try to upgrade your battery too much or it will not work. This battery is a small upgrade and the Dyson works great.
