Very innacurate
This thermometer does not work properly. I put it in boiling water to test and it did not reach 100 C. My jams got all overcooked because the thermometer kept showing me 101.8 and it would not increase inspite of a high flame and the liquid was bubbling. Also when the flame was still high and the jam boiling the temperature started dropping and went down to 99.8 . Absolutely unreliable product! I know it's cheap but you obviously get what you pay for.

I have been using this product since a month, the plastic is coming off a bit but still working for now. OK OK product with its price .

Slow and loose
The container in which it came is totally loose and unusable. The build quality is cheap and looks like it will break if dropped. It registers the temperature change very slowly.
