Rubie's Monarch Butterfly Pet Costume, Large

I got this outfit for my 27 pound golden doodle and she looks great. It fit her like a glove and she looks great wearing it on special occasions

Adorable but too small for my golden retriever. Should be a strech material for the body of the costume to fit more sizes.

My little butterfly took flight in this hilarious Halloween costume. It was perfect, and she didn't mind it at all, save for the flower, which she did not enjoy having on her head. I put it on her neck instead, and it works there, too.I ordered an XL for my Brittany, Ripley. Ripley is slightly large for a Brittany, about 20" tall and 39 lbs with a 24" chest. The XL fits a little snugly around her chest, but if I ordered a larger size, it would be way too big. It fastens, and it stayed on and the velcro did not come loose at all during our little impromptu photo shoot, which is a success in my book.Overall, I think it was worth the price and it made for some very cute pictures. The material is a little thin, and you have to be really careful with the sizing (a larger dog definitely wouldn't fit in this size), but I would purchase a similar costume in the future.

I was so excited for this costume! I read all the other reviews and seen the biggest issue was the sizes was off. So I ordered both a medium and a large assuming atleast one should fit my 18 pound shitweenie. But NOPE!!!! The medium was ideally the best fit if the chest was BIGGER!! I couldn’t even velcro the dress as it was so small for her chest. So I tried the large on and she was DROWNING in it! The skirt and idea was cute but the wings were absolutely cheap looking and not cute! Value for money? Save your money and buy a different costume! Save yourself some time as you will return this! I returned both sizes! Ease of putting on? If it fit dogs correctly it could’ve been easier putting it on. Softness? It’s a Halloween costume materiel… no softness… adjustability? None.

The colors are so cute on this costume. I bought this for my 12 pound toy poodle. She has a 12" neck and 18" chest. The wings were so big they kept hitting her in the head when she moved.

I wasn‘t expecting much from a pet costume, as we have been so disappointed in the past but I am THRILLED! The costume is so well constructed and the fabrics are chosen with pets in mind, soft and not binding. As you can see from our photo, our little butterfly even took a nap in hers. We will definitely order from this company again.

Love these little butterfly costumes on my French Bulldog and Pug girls. They are well made for the price and perfect for Halloween dress up! Pug Trixie weighs 15 lbs. Frenchie Lulu weighs 18 lbs. Although I knew the chest would be a "maybe" fit I purchased size Medium, knowing the Large would be too long on their shorter bodies. The neck piece fastens just fine, but the chest is a half inch too small. Doesn't matter. They look ADORABLE and the large would have fit the chest, but been way to large otherwise. Score one for their Mom! Ha!
