These yard sticks work well as the base for our Redi-Arch pleated arched window shade
I got two of these yard sticks to use as a sturdier base for the pleated Redi-Arch window shade in our dining room and they work great! There are adhesive strips along the ends of the Redi-Arch that I attached to the yard sticks which helps the arched shade be more stable in the window and so the shade can easily be removed for dusting/cleaning the window sill. The shade covers the yard sticks so you can't see them. Plus, the window is 8 feet off the ground so you can't even see the bottom of the shade anyway.

Thick sturdy yardstick
It's harder to find a thick, sturdy yardstick than one would think. I bought a couple others that had good reviews, but were pretty flimsy. This one really is thick and sturdy, which is good because I use it as a 3' pole as much as a yardstick. Great for getting kids toys from underneath the couch. :)It measures things up to about a yard long pretty well too. So long as you are in the US to need such a measurement, you are fine.

Depending on your application, it may be fine. The yardstick I received was somewhat bowed - i.e. not flat. This may not matter if you press down on it while using. I have a different application and will probably get a different one. Not worth shipping it backThe Seller responded to my question that it is Made in USA.However, stamped on the front and back is "Made in China"

Well made
This is a well made yardstick with both inches and centimeters on one face. Reminds me of the ones every school teacher had while I was growing up- nothing fancy, just a good, practical yardstick.I'm ordering another one, my first will be mounted to the wall next to my desk so I can quickly gauge the size of things described without having to reach for a ruler.

my rulers multiplied
I ordered this to use with my daughter for math. We just needed a no-frills, easy to handle wooden ruler. When the box was delivered to my house, it felt surprisingly heavy. Imagine my surprise when I opened it up to find 12 rulers! I've gone back to look at the item description again and nowhere does it mention it being a pack of 12. I'm not sure if they're always shipped like that or if it was a mistake. Well, if anybody needs a ruler . . .As far as the ruler goes, it's a good, decent ruler. They're very light and marked with inches and centimeters on one side and inches and eighths of a yard on the other. The corners and sides of the ruler are slightly rough, just rough enough to make me cautious of splinters. There is a hole drilled on one end to hang it up.I'm curious to know if anybody else got a dozen rulers.

It is cheaper looking than it shows online.
I thought that it would be of better quality being a Dritz! I am dissapointed. I can get a better one for less at Home Depot.
