Update - while running on slow and 1/2 full, the drum just exploded. It did not fall of the motor, but ruined the motor and drained fluid down the power cord blowing my fuses (old house). DO NOT BUY THIS. This extremely small, "reconditioned" unit has several problems. 1) the ON/OFF button does not work. It comes with no instructions. I am using is for brass shell casings, cannot get very many in this unit. No instructions as to if wet media can be used with the steel pins. They send a package of BB's, which look like #7 1/2 bird shot, but my magnet does stick to them. So they must be just dirty looking steel. I would return it, but have metastatic cancer, and it is just easier for me to throw it away. What a disappointment! Amazon... you need to do a better job screening this stuff. 3-4 years ago you had a great company with good products. Now you never know what you are going to get. Why are you selling us terrible stuff now? Your company, and this opinion is through many, many orders, is becoming completely un-trustable. Why? This was an excellent company. Now I have to shift to Walmart, as they are still trustworthy. Look back though my years of orders, there are a lot, and see how my returns have had to increase as time has gone on. This is fixable. Please bring your company back to the excellent service it once was!

I loaded it with 4 pounds of stainless steel media, along with 1 pound of flatware jewlery. I let it cycle forward and backwards for an hour. I've done 2 batches and it works great. I was concerned about some of the negative reviews. I see how the top could be over tightened to the point of breaking. Because of those reviews I used caution when putting on the lid. It doesn't take much pressure to keep the O ring snug. No leaks and it humming along. Just what I needed for my jewlery side hustle.

Should've just bought this one first.. Ordered this after Harbor Freight randomly cancelled my order, because I really needed a tumbler to polish silver quickly. Ordered better steel shot off of Rio (haven't tried using the shot this tumbler came with yet) I have been pleasantly pleased with this tumbler so far. Easy to fill and get the top off. Also easy to clean. It has multiple different settings which is nice. The instructions are in Chinese but I didn't really need them.. it was easy to assemble and use. I am able to polish 30+ hoops at the same time and they come out super shiny! So much better than hand-polishing!

I’ve read a lot of negative reviews on these type of tumblers (Cheap Chinese) I’m writing this review to the contrary. The unit I received is of good quality, and well built. It’s slightly louder than I would like. But not overly loud. The sealing cap locks tight, and hasn’t leaked one drop. The locking mechanism is adjustable if needed. I’m using it to tumble some machined bronze pieces. The stainless media I purchased isn’t doing much, so I’m waiting for some abrasive media to arrive. But all in all, a nice little machine, at a decent price.

Hasta ahorita me ha gustado mucho el barril, me gusta como deja las piezas, hace un buen trabajo, sin embargo, aunque la publicación dice que incluía 500 gramos de media de acero, ésta no llegó.

I wear my jewelry all day, every day, so it tends to get filled with lotion sunscreen etc. This machine has been the only one to get it completely clean, like the jewelers. The one thing I will say is it wound not be appropriate for delicate or dainty jewelry pieces.

Caution: Be aware this is a 110 volt machine and will require a 110/240 volt transformer. Read the small print.
