lower volume no tone
They block sound, but I was unable to play drums in a rock band with these, the volume was so soft I was unable to gauge my dynamics, maybe if I used them all the time? I don't know, I don't like em! Comfort was a 5 outta 10, it wasn't like I forgot they were there but after a bit I just wanted em out. I did use them listening to a loud band and yes they seriously lower the volume, but the quality isn't there.I'm thinking maybe just a 6db cut is all that is really needed, I'm playing music not working on a running jet engine, I need dynamics and tone, some crispness on the snare......
