This is a nicely designed and functional barn door with back that was extremely easy to install. The manufacturer wisely provided a template to install the handles in front and back. My husband made it a point to let me know to give kudos to the mfg for doing this, so kudos! It helped the install go smoothly. It looks great and functions as expected. It was for a door we use in our master walk-in closet so that is why one side of the door is not stained, since no one sees it... ever. The back handle allows us to close and open the door from the other side if ever needed, it's just good to have options. The price was great and we have no complaints. We are happy with our purchase and recommend this to everyone looking for barn door pulls.Pros: easy to install, great look and sturdyCons: none

There were so many similar handles to choose from and I understand now why this one receives so many 5 star reviews. First it's a very large, thick, heavy, quality piece of hardware. It has a modern look with a wrought iron feel. It looks great on our door and matches our rail and wheel kit perfectly. What really impressed me is that the company offered us a free floor guide to keep the door from swinging outward that is also great quality (far better and easier to install than the one that came with our hanging kit) and THEN, they offered us a free privacy latch. They make sure to stay in touch with their customers, anticipated needs I hadn't even thought of and are clearly very generous and excellent marketers. I'm happy to leave 5 star reviews for that kind of care and service. Of course, I can't guarantee that you'll receive those things, but I can say confidently that there are real people you can get in touch with, which is not always the case. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a set of high quality no fuss handles for the barn doors I built for my home office. These fit the bill nicely. My doors are 1.75 inches thick, and that is probably as thick as you can go with these handles and the included bolt length.These are very high quality handles that are easy to install with the included template. Measure 36 inches from the floor to the bottom hole and 2 inches from the edge of the door, line up the template, mark and drill 2 holes with a 3/8 bit. I drilled from the front to the back of the door, where the backing plate hides any splintering from the drill bit exiting the wood. The handle then installs easily with high quality bolts, and the included Allen wrench.The one gotcha is you must be very careful when drilling that you drill bit goes in at a perfect right angle to the face of the wood both horizontally and vertically. This is especially important if you have thicker doors, like I do. If not you risk having the backing plate/handle not being plumb, or worse not aligning at all. You can see in the photo of the backing plate that one is not vertically aligned, although the handle on the front of the door is. That's why I docked one star for 'easy to install'. Completely my fault for not being more careful, but the included instructions don't really mention this as a danger. I will probably fix this by enlargening the hole with a 1/2 inch drill bit if it bothers me enough.

The hook we purchased was for our barn doors. It's sturdy, works perfect and looks nice too! I'm very pleased with it.

Shipped quick and was great quality. Very heavy duty metal, very easy to install. It took under five minutes for me to install on the door and most of that time was spent walking to get my drill. I would recommend to anyone with a sliding door project in their future. They have great customer appreciation after the sale as well.

Handles look and feel very professional. They were easy to install with easy to follow instructions. The template made it easy to install the handles exactly where they’re intended and to match the location with the other door. If we needed more handles in the future, I’d buy these again!

We bought a two pack of these handles for two black barn doors we recently installed. They are high quality and have a modern look to them. They were easy to install for the most part. However, one of the prongs to connect the large handle to the door was not straight. As a result, despite using the drilling template it comes with, we could not get the handle to line up with the holes. We ended up having to make the drilled hole bigger for the prong that was bent in order to accommodate the difference. The other handle went on easily. I suspect it must have been an issue with the manufacturing as everything was wrapped and protected very well for shipping.

I have not yet installed our new barn door handles but I am very impressed with the look, feel and quality of the barn door handles. Will try and update with a picture after we build the barn door and install the handles!
