Great shape for a country wedding, but learning curve necessary.
The mold tended to "hold onto" the cream cheese mint mixture and had a learning curve needing several "test" batches that I hadn't expected. My niece loved the final product once I'd gotten the hang of it. Make sure to coat the mints in the sugar well and start at the tip of the boot and move outward and then upward. Smaller balls of dough than I expected were needed. Still a great mold for a country wedding.

Chocolate boots make for a delicious treat
I bought several chocolate molds for my nephew's first birthday cowboy themed party. These were easy to use and easy to pop out once set. These boots are pretty thin so you have to be careful to make sure to fill all of the edges and carefully remove them but they would be easy to use around the side of a cake, on top of it, or as delicious chocolate treats. These were adorable place on top of cupcakes and such an easy solution for a decoration in both white, dark, and milk chocolate. It would have been fun to make them with colored chocolate as well. I will definitely use them again.

So easy to use!
Some reviewers criticized these molds as being too shallow - not so! These are so easy to use and create the perfect cupcake toppers! Just melt the chocolate, pour in, scrape off excess, freeze for minutes, and press out!

Used these to make mints for daughters wedding
Used these to make mints for daughters wedding. They are the plastic and proved to be difficult until we figured it out... With cream cheese mints the secret is sugar. Roll your mix into little balls, roll them in sugar and then put them in mold, turn over in hand and 'pop' the mint out. Worked VERY WELL :)! Turned out cute! Did hats, boots and horseshoes :)!!

The candy mold of cowboys will work out great for my daughter's 'Cowboy wedding'
The candy mold of cowboys will work out great for my daughter's 'Cowboy wedding'. We wanted something out of the ordinary and I think this is it. I can make candies any color not just chocolate.

but the results were awesome.
I was hoping the boot's side 'embossing' could be filled first (with contrast colour), simply by pouring in melted chocolate or melting in some shaved chocolate. But no, the embossing actually comes slightly up the rounded shape of the boot's sides. Ah well, it took me an insanely long time to do each boot by hand with softened chocolate and a toothpick, but the results were awesome.
