Nice Gloves
These gloves are well made. They run a little small though, so order up in size.

Solid Shooting Gloves!
Super comfortable and they feel a lot more durable and protective than mechanix gloves for a little bit more. I think the value is there for sure, you’ll use these a lot longer than those and its a lot nicer feeling too. Give these a shot!

Uncompromised performance in harsh environments...
I work in an Aerosol Plant as well as visit the outdoor range in all weather very often. Never have I had a set of gloves that can handle a harsh environment workplace, outdoor labor in all environments, outdoor range time in all weather, as well as allow me to use touchscreens, type on keypads and keyboards with literally ZERO ISSUES.Original reason I was glove shopping was that I suffered an amputation and other damage to my primary hand. With the reconstruction of some digits as well as the amputation things were extremely sensitive as well as difficult to use. After purchase all gloves under the sun I finally fell on these bad boys...I'll tell you the acclimation was weird to use them in daily life but it was short. Properly dampened the heightened sensitivity I was suffering and quickly allowed me to go back to daily life.Using these as such I decided to push the limit on their durability. This is my 3rd pair in 2-years, which is incredible! My first pair lasted 2-months, and with the amount of work and labor I was doing seemed quite adequate. Second pair I returned immediately due to a stitching issue...the replacement pair was literally on my door step the next day without issue so I had no problems. I get it, sometimes crap happens. That replacement pair lasted me for about 6-month. I was mind blown. I wrench in the worst environment, deal with the harshest chemicals and I just was with dawn soap and hang to dry. 3-rd pair has lasted me 9-months.I'm leaving this review as I purchase my 4th Pair. Again, I wear almost as many hours as I'm awake. I do everything with them and they last. My favorites are the FDE's. I own one pair of black and while they're probably just as good they have that funky leather smell and I don't dig it. Thanks Magpul for an exceptional product and Amazon for holding up the quality end and delivery of it.

Excellent Glove for AR15 & AK
Perfect for my needs in manipulating AR15s and AK47s at a rifle range. I don't need all of the huge knuckle shielding and so forth for tactical work, just gloves that keep the chill off my hands in cold weather, are not uncomfortably warm in hot weather in NC, keep me from touching hot barrels, and provide the dexterity for loading mags, operating charging handles, and adjusting scopes. The palm leather is grippy enough to give me a firm grip on semi-auto pistols. To be clear, there is padding across the knuckle area. ( I do not use the gloves for harsh, demanding work such as construction, driving farm vehicles and the like. For that sort of thing, I go with MechanixWear M-pact gloves.) These Magpul gloves are perfectly satisfactory for range firing in hot and cold weather.

Flimsy and Not Professional Grade. At All.
I bought these to wear as part of my costume for a low-budget action movie. By day three of the shoot they started to tear at the seams on the fingers. By day 6 they were so covered in superglue from the prop guys trying to mend them on the spot between takes they looked absolutely laughable. The 4 separate holes in the photos are in addition to what was patched up (they all look similar but they are different tear points). Mind you, we were just pretending to do tactical stuff that real operators do in the field, not actually doing it. When the camera stopped rolling PA’s would bring me a cold water and makeup would touch up my hair and makeup. We were not actually fighting or shooting just looking like it. I cannot in good conscience recommend them to anyone for serious use where you might have to rely on them in an emergency situation where nobody is around to yell “cut” and you are actually depending on your gear. These will fail you I guarantee. I’ve used the same pair of PIG brand gloves for years hunting in New Mexico, dragging elk down mountains soaked in blood after gutting them, climbing trees, using them like work gloves, and they still look new. I assumed with Magpuls reputation and a similar price point these would be at least as good. They are not. Not even close. I do recommend PIG brand, those are GOOD gloves. These Magpul gloves are not. It has made me question how great Magpul’s other products are when put to the test. I hope this helps.

Mislabeled size?
I have had these same gloves for years. The ones that I have been wearing are a size large. I just purchased the same gloves in an XL size, but I cannot tell the difference in fit between the two. One glove of the new pair has washing instructions but neither new glove has a size indicator. The only size indicator was on the cardboard the gloves were attached to; it was clearly marked XL. This could be mislabeling or just the result of a lack of standardization due to outsourcing; (the new gloves were made in Cambodia; the old ones were made in Vietnam and had a sewed in label designating them as "L.") I'm debating whether or not to return these new ones and try again for an XL or order the XXL size.
